Ready for that mountain vacation? Come and stay a while at our cabin in Murphy, North Carolina, and enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains at our Smoky Mountain Hideaway on Mary King Mountain! Located between the Cherokee and Nantahala Forests, just a two-hour drive from Atlanta, Chattanooga and Asheville. Come see what you've been missing in the mountains of North Carolina!
Nicely decorated and clean, cool, cozy and comfortable, you can make yourself right at home! Nestled on Mary King Mountain on over and acre of wooded land, just west of the town of Murphy with easy access. Enjoy your drive up to the cabin through two miles of easy winding roads (one mile paved and one mile well-maintained wide gravel road).
Experience the peace and quiet of the mountains, start your day sitting on the large, fully covered deck with a cup of coffee overlooking your own woods, and take in the sights, smells and sounds of nature while planning your days activities, or just sit back and relax in front of the beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace! You'll sure get a good night's sleep while you're here too! Kids will enjoy playing in and exploring the woods. The full eat-in kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second bedroom has twin bunk beds, and a full size sleeper sofa with extra thick mattress is located in the living room.
There is a large fenced in area for dogs to run, play and do their business. The deck also has a gate to keep dogs from running down into woods. Dog bowls provided.
Whether you plan an active fun-filled vacation or days of quiet relaxation, everything you need is here in the mountains of western North Carolina. Most of all, enjoy your stay!!!
Smoking is permitted outside on DECK ONLY. Ashtrays provided.
PET FRIENDLY! Dogs up to 50 lbs. permitted with prior approval and with proper flea/tick application prior to entering cabin.

RENTAL RATES & TERMS
$400 per week plus sales and occupancy taxes of 10%. Rentals run Saturday to Saturday.
$75 per day, 3 day minimum, plus sales and occupancy taxes of 10%. Total rent amount, taxes, cleaning fee and refundable security deposit(s) are to be paid in full to book all daily rentals.
$1,200 per month plus sales and occupancy taxes of 10%.
$100 refundable security deposit on weekly rentals, $200 refundable security deposit on monthly rentals. Bookings on weekly rentals are not confirmed until deposit is received. Total rent amount, taxes and cleaning fees are due no later than 2 weeks prior to your arrival date, along with any pet security deposits, if applicable.
$100 refundable pet security deposit with prior approval of owner, dogs up to 50 lbs. Flea/tick prevention is required prior to bringing dog into cabin (there are fleas and ticks in the mountains). Deposit refunded by mail after housekeeper cleans and inspects property and reports back to owner that all is well. NO CATS PLEASE.
$50 cleaning fee.
Check-in 2:00 p.m., Check-out 10:00 a.m.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your dates prior to the two weeks of your scheduled arrival date and it can be re-rented, $100 security deposit will be refunded. If dates cannot be re-rented, $100 security deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel your dates within the two weeks of you scheduled arrival day, the entire rental amount will be forfeited and security deposit returned.
Telephone: Owner asks that any long distance phone calls that are placed are done so by calling that party COLLECT or by using YOUR OWN calling card!
PLEASE NO SMOKING IN CABIN, smoking is allowed outside on the deck ONLY.
