Maverick Bill Lorge

can beat Sen Herb Kohl

Former GOP Rep. Lorge runs for Wisconsin US Senate

"My campaign will be about Issues as well as unique"

Bear Creek, WI - Maverick Republican Leader Bill Lorge, age 39 of Bear Creek, officially

announced yesterday, Thursday evening June 8th, in his home town of Bear Creek, Wisconsin that he is definitely running

for the US Senate and "I will make issues the focus of my campaign, with several unique

surprises!", said Lorge. Lorge says he is the best Candidate to beat the popular Milwaukee Bucks

owner Senator Herb Kohl of Milwaukee, because of Lorge's solid stand on issues, his perfect voting

record - never missing a vote in ten years in the State Legislature, his protective record on the

Environment, also cutting taxes, education funding, people power, health care, voting his District and

personally serving his constituents. Lorge is currently circulating his nomination papers for people to

sign, allowing Lorge's name to appear on the ballot as a Candidate for Kohl's US Senate seat. Lorge

is the son of former State Senator Gerald D. Lorge.

"The US Senate is the one job I have always wanted to serve the people in, and the time is

now. I am more ready and able than I have ever been to win and do a great job. I am in the

prime of my life. You ain't seen nothing yet! As a ten year State Legislator, I have a record of

giving my political power back to the people. I never missed a vote in Sessions or Committees. I

have a perfect record voting for my District as a Representative. That is why I hold the Wisconsin

state record with 6,000 write-in votes in 1998. They called me, 'The People's Representative'.

Now it's time to be, 'The People's Senator'," added Lorge.

Lorge said his top issue will be to bring down the size and scope of government to help cap

federal income taxes at 5% and to totally get rid of the federal income tax forms, making tax day on

April 15th a non event. "We don't need to have American citizens laboring over federal tax forms

when they labor at their jobs. Paying taxes can be easier, and that will be my personal mission if

elected. To get rid of the burdensome income tax forms altogether and to cap the taxes you pay to

each level of government to 5%. It will be like a taxpayer's revolution," added Lorge.

Lorge also cited his farm background, and that he would stop the Federal Milk pricing system

once and for all. "I have a plan that I know will work including my filibustering. Even my

relatives who are dairy farmers agree it is time to fight hard for this one - I am that fighter," added

"Fighting Bill" Lorge, who says his time in the US Senate would resemble his mentor, "Fighting Bob"

La Follette, calling on more reforms like those La Follette championed, all covered in his web pages.

Lorge is married to his hometown sweetheart Molly McGinty, they have two children so far.

"Our first two children turned out so well, I want ten more," said Lorge. Lorge has been very busy

running his real estate business, but will now devote the majority of his time campaigning in every one

of Wisconsin's 72 Counties, as well as all major Cities, Towns and Villages in Wisconsin. Lorge and

his young family reside in both Madison in Dane County and Bear Creek in Outagamie County.

Lorge does have an impressive Web page for his US Senate campaign that allows Wisconsin

voters to personally interact with Lorge himself on an almost daily basis. For more information on the

Bill Lorge for US Senate Campaign, surf over to Lorge's web page for a more detailed listing of
