*NYPD CAGE is a Citywide Anti Gang Unit that aggressively deploys some of New York's best street cops into it's worst neighborhoods. The Mission: Aggressively Attack gangs at all levels by any means legal to liberate neighborhoods from the scourge of gangsters.
*CAGE Officers frequently volunteer their time to lecture at community meetings, schools and professional organizations
*CAGE is a sub-unit of the elite NYPD Street Crime Unit which sends out the geatest street cops in NYC to arrest gun toting criminals in the highest crime areas of NY.
*CAGE has teams in all the five boroughs of NYC (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island -PBS! )

!n 1997, CAGE effected the arrest of nearly 500 gangsters resulting in the seizure of 170 firearms, 50 Kilograms of Cocaine, 10 Kilograms of Heroin, 50 Stolen Vehicles, close to a half a million dollars, countless bags of street level crack and heroin and executed 100 search warrants in safehouses, jail cells and businesses of targeted gangs.
