We live in the shadows of Pikes Peak in a small community of Black Forest Colorado. It was named that by local Indians because from a distance the forest appeared black. It is also the home to the black-tufted eared squirrel. We raise Registered Toggenburgs, Nigerian Dwarf and Miniature Dairy Goats. We use the milk, make cheese, kefir, and soap. These are very addictive animals, with such a unique personality you can't have just one... My oldest doe is seven and still producing. We are hoping for twin does from her this year.
Dairy goats are small so you can have more then one, like you might with a homestead cow. Since there are so many different breeds of dairy goats you can pick a breed that best suits your personality and climate situation. I personally like the calm quiet breeds of goats. That is why I raise Toggenburgs, Miniature Toggenburgs, Miniature LaManchas, and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. Dairy goats are great for the small homestead. Email me for more information.

We have goat milk soap for sale, with several different styles to choose from. Shipping is actual cost. We can also make special order soap, but the processing time is 6 weeks due to the cure time for "real" soap.
