Agard Family Quilts consists of five family members who are Native American Lakota from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. Irene Agard is the matriarch of our business and our family. Irene is 93 years old and has been sewing and making quilts for over 70 years. She is a very active part of our business because she loves to sew and does beautiful star quilts and scrap quilts. She often remarks that sewing is what keeps her going. Margaret is Irene's daughter and she has been sewing and making quilts for 35+ years. Margaret is the backbone of our business and inspires us with her creativity and wonderful color schemes. Margaret's sister Bernice adds her talent by sewing some of the stars used in our quilts. Lisa and Anthony are Margaret's two oldest children. Lisa works exclusively in satin materials and makes beautiful, intricate quilts. Anthony is an accomplished hand quilter.
