I wanted to create this page to thank some
people who have been instrumental in my life.
There is no particular order, I've just wrote
this page in the order I thought of them.

Lawrence S. Epstein
Larry Epstein hired me as an 18 year old
Computer Novice and gave me my early grounding in Microcomputer repair and
Networks. Larry gave me the opportunity to work on two published books
"A Guide to Theatres in America", and "Your Guide to a Career
in Computer Sales".
Both of these projects gave me immense
satisfaction, and a strong sense of achievement.
Larry also bought me my first car, and
taught me to drive. Not quite a father figure, but definitely like a
favorite Uncle, Larry made a big difference in my life that I am only now
realizing.
Thanks Larry..
Dr. Charles Hedbring

Charlie told me often that I would have to
get to the age of 30 - 35 before I really started to see what life was
about, and make radical changes. Charlie always had a vision and a dream
that I'd do it earlier.
I know I struggled hard to try live up to
Charlie's expectations, failing miserably more often than not.
I know that the time and effort that Charlie
invested in me during the late 80's and early 90's were not in vain. The
difference that Charlie has made in my life is very strong.
More of father to me than my father, and
also a better friend than I realized at the time.
I'm pleased to say that Charlie is still in
my life, even though he is down under in Tasmania, dealing with lounging
lizards, and bungee jumping his way to happiness.
I know Charlie will continue to be a
positive influence, and a voice of reason for as long as I am blessed to
know him.
Thanks Cool Breeze!

Bayard Barnes
Bayard has been my teacher since 1993.
Moreso than anyone else to date, Bayard has shown me what it's like to
really change and to live well.
Bayard is not only my teacher, but my
student as well. When he let's me teach him, I often learn more than he.
Bayard struggles with me, because he loves
me. Like Charlie and others in my life, Bayard often steps gingerly through
the minefield that is my psyche, to give me the teaching and love that I
need.
I love you Beezer, you're the best.
Lori Hartman
My sister Lori is an inspiration to me. She
balances being a mother, a college student, and supporting her family
incredibly well.
Lori and I didn't always get along, but I
have strong memories that she has always loved me very much.
When my life was hard, she was there to give
me a hand.
By letting me help her when things get tough
for her, she teaches me what it's like to return love.
Lori has come through for me almost all of
the time, and I'm glad I'm able to come through for her.
I love you Lori, you really are the best
sister I could hope for.
Jill Goldstein
The short time we spent together has made a
large difference in my life. Looking at how I was with you and how you were
with me, not only taught me the things I did wrong that I need to correct.
It also caused me to see the things I did right. Many more than I first
believed.
Facing the truth of our relationship came
with great difficulty, but has helped me to see and remove a host of
addictions and dysfunctions that were limiting to me.
In the face of how things have been between
us, being able to forgive both of us and afterwards, having a purer,
healthier love for you is my vision of me being emotionally healthy.
I used to look at our relationship as a
failure, but I now see it as a success. It's not a failure to end something,
but to run away.
I love you Jill, wherever you are..
Albert Hartman Sr.
Though you may never read this, I want the
world to know how much I love and appreciate you. Each time I see you, I
have expressed to you these thanks.
You gave me many things, physically,
emotionally, intellectually that persist to this day.
You were a better father than I expressed to
you while you were doing it.
I appreciate now the things you did that
seemed hard or wrong at the time. And I am glad of those lessons.
Although I spent some time poisoned against
you, there is no trace of that poison today. My feelings for you are totally
my own and unswayed by others influence.
I love you Daddy... Thanks for being my Dad!
Herbert Bennett

Herb, I think about you every day. Although
you are gone from my life, you aren't gone from my heart or my mind.
You gave me the experience of having a
two-way friendship. You also gave me the experience of knowing that I could
be a positive influence on someone I loved.
I miss you Herbie.
Herb Bennet tragically died in an Automobile
Accident in May of 1997.
He was a good partner and a friend..
