My Martial Arts History
Hello my name is Alex. I am 7 years old and my favorite sport is Taekwondo. I just started Taekwondo Sept. 1999 after I moved from New Jersey to Georgia my teacher name is Master Koja. I have also practiced Karate my Karate teacher name was Shihan Ed Torres and Kung fu my Kung Fu teacher name was Sifu Vizzio. I started martial arts when I was 4 years old and I have been doing it ever since. I have been to 4 Taekwondo Tournaments since I have been here in Georgia and I have won the 1st place gold medal in all four. I won the gold medal in forms and sparring in the state tournament to qualify for the Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships on July 10 to July 15 in San Antonio Texas. Just recently I won grand champion in forms and sparring in my last Tournament this past April. So I have to practice hard for the Junior Taekwondo Olympics because I know there is going to be a lot of good competition there. I have won and I have lost and from every win and every loss I have learned a lot and practice on getting better.I am also on the Demo Team in Taekwondo.
Well as you know it's now past July 10 -15 and I am glad to say that I won the Gold Medal in sparring in the 20th Taekwondo Jr. Olympics and I would like to thank everyone who volenteered their time and energy in our fund raiser. That is my picture above at the jr olympics.

My Interests
I love playing super nintendo, playstation, and nintendo 64 games. My favorite game is star wars for super nintendo, 007 Goldeneye for nintendo 64 and teken 3 for playstation. I also like trading pokemon cards, swimming and playing with friends and my little brother Eric.

My School
I just started my new school in Septemper here in Georgia and I like it a lot. I love math and art and especially physical education. My teacher is really nice and so far we went on a trip to the zoo and to see a pokemon show. I like reading and on my last report card I received a E for excellent in reading and math. But I need to work on my handwriting though. The last day of school here is on June 2nd then I will have time to practice full time with my Taekwondo.
