About the All Ages Show

The All Ages Show airs on WPRB 103.3 FM (or online at www.wprb.com) Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m. (note new time!) Paddy and his partner, Edapp (species unrevealed, though we know he likes to hop -- and eat flies) play a variety of music that's not just for grown-ups and there is a storytime segment, called "PaddyTales," with original music, sound effects and song.

Next week's show

NOTE -- playlists for this week and previous All-Ages Shows can be found at www.wprb.com
I'm sorry I just haven't been able to keep up this page (real life keeps interferring, by cricky).

Previous shows

Last week:
One of our favs, Gunnar Madsen, is performing in Princeton on Monday, so we started with a few of his tunes to promote the show. Then Eddap (he should talk) made fun of the boy who's named "Tuna Fish" in the song of the same name and also questioned what kind of name Gunnar was, so we played some name songs.
Our storytime was Wanda G'ag's classic "Millions of Cats," so we had to follow that will cat songs, right?
here's the playlist:

Aug. 2;
It was the first week of August and summer is zipping by too, too fast (in one month -- BACK TO SCHOOL!). Eddap spent most of the week "camping" -- that is, he set up a tent in the garage. Not too daring, but it was still fun, and he did stay dry. We played songs about camping and the great outdoors.
The featured story was "August Explains," by Philip Ressner. It's about a wise bear named August who helps a little cub named Ted in his efforts to become human. Of course, we had to follow that up with songs about bears and their various antics.
Here's a list of what we played:
John McCutcheon - Camping in the Wilderness - Summersongs
Michael Leeman, Bev Bos and TOm Hunter - Lyin' in my Sleeping Bag - We've been Waiting for You
Dave Rudolph - Safari in My Backyard - Stupendously Sill Skits, Songs and Stories
Allan Sherman - Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah - The Best of ...
Al Simmons - Camp Wiganishee - Funtime
Walkin' Jim Stoltz - A Kid for the Wild - A Kid for the Wild
