Welcome to the Androscoggin Grange #8's website! The brothers and sisters of this fraternity are always welcoming new members. The Grange provides opportunities for individuals and families to develop to their highest potential in order to build stronger communities and states, as well as a stronger nation.
We are currently in the process of doing major renovations to this building. We recently built a handicap ramp, drilled a well, installed a septic system and 2 handicap accessible bathrooms. Fundraising events are being planned to raise money so that we may have a REAL faucet with running water in our kitchen. We currently have the old fashioned hand pump in our kitchen. We feel that if we have these modern conveniences, our local townspeople would facilitate and use this building more often, which will mean more funds coming in for our Grange, which in turn will help us do more for the community. Another major project we are fundraising for is to install a stairlift so that the upstairs hall will be more accessible for the elderly. We recently had 6 new windows donated & installed free of charge from area citizens & businesses so the grange now has all new windows in our dining hall and kitchen. Our Grange has come a long way and we are on a roll!
DONATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR RENOVATIONS! If you would like to donate towards the cost of the stairlift or a window, we will make a plaque to place under that window with your name on it to show everyone our thanks to you!
