Eric Alter, Executive Producer, is the founder of Apricot Sky Productions. He founded the company in 1999. He serves as the resident playwright of the company and the Executive Producer. He has written 87 plays, many of which have been produced by Apricot Sky Productions. However, his plays have been produced throughout the country and mainly in New York City. Other theaters include: The American Theatre of Actors, The Riant Theater, The Brooklyn Lyceum, The Emerging Artists Theater, Lamia Ink, The Theater Studio, Inc, The Midtown International Festvial, The Boca Raton Theater Guild, The Abydos Theater (San Francisco), Playwrights Theater of NJ, Jersey Voices (Chatham, NJ) and NJ Dramatists and Waterfront Ensemble.
He has sold 8 plays to PLAYS! The Drama Magazine for Young Children based out of Boston, Mass. He has also written 2 books of poetry. Two of his poems have been published.
Eric works full time as the Director of the Deron School of New Jersey. He holds a bachelors degree in Communication from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
He holds two Master's Degrees. One in Social Work from Fordham University in new York City. The other in Education from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, NJ.
Eric is also the senior entertainment writer for That's Life Magazine, a Northern, NJ based entertainment magazine. Eric frequently reviews broadway plays, and restaurants for the magazine. You can check out the magazine online at www.thatslifemag.com.
His full length play: The War at Dawn was optioned to be turned into a film by Paramour Productions, LLC in Los Angeles, California.

Rachel Skrod started acting with Apricot Sky Productions in 2004, and now serves as the company's Director of Operations. Rachel's passion acting started at the age of 7. She attended Summer Drama Camp and performed in various community theater productions in her hometown of Staten Island, NY. While attending Palm Beach College in Florida, Rachel majored in acting and worked for three theaters in set design, construction and lighting.
Her performances include: Crimes of the Heart (Babe), Wait Until Dark (Susie) and Much Ado About Nothing (Hero). Rachel's NJ credits include: Apricot Sky Production's As Fate Would Have it (Priscilla and Janice). She was last seen in NYC at The American Theatre of Actors in The Apricot Sky Production of The War at Dawn (Lila, Kelly, Koki). She is currently studying technique and scene study at the HB Studio in NYC.
