i-Cybie is now available in the FAO Schwarz in NYC! So, for all you New Yorkers out there, have fun:-) But for the rest of us, we still need to wait:-( (their website doens't have it yet) On the plus side, someone uploaded a picture of the box, and... it includes the AAA batteries for the remote!!! HORRAY(I am trying to keep my sanity knowing someone else has an i-Cybie and I don't:-)

Recently there was a chat with a tiger toys representative in the Yahoo! i-Cybie group. There was lots of good news, and some bad news. I will start with the bad news. According to the info released in the chat, the programming kit for i-Cybie will not be released until the last quarter of this year, or the first quarter of next year. Now, for the good news... the first shipments of i-Cybie should be arriving in the US this week. Don't get your hopes up though, it still might take a few weeks to arrive in stores near you. This is my favorite good news... finally, we have conformation of object detection! It was earlier said that this feature was just a rumor, but, now, it has been confirmed, i-Cybie will recognize objects with a special coating. We don't know what the special coating is yet though, but I believe it is anything reflective or shiny.
Well, I am happy about this recent news, and can't wait to get my i-Cybie soon (EBWorlds date might actually be right... for once:-)

Well, it seems that because some people were criticizing the website, and since we weren't supposed to know it existed yet, it is now not running anymore, should be soon though. Right now at that adress there is an index page, if you didn't get the manual you can click on the iCybiIN2.pdf button, and there are also places to acess the FAQ section, but not the main website.

EBWorld (EBGames) has changed their shipping daye to August, yes, I did say August, but I don't believe them, also, it is rumored i-Cybie in fact didn't go into production yet, but I don't believe that either. I have made a new Message Board to replace the one which will soon be discontinued, so look for it soon. Also, I have a new website, so don't forget to check it out. Some minor old news I forgot to post. First of all, the color I thought it was going to be isn't the real color, turns out that was a scetch of an i-Cybie. Also, i-Cybie will have a guard dog mode (can be turned on and off) This is what I have on the third color so far, it ISN'T clear, black, or white. One thing of bad news, i-Cybie may only be able to respond to 8 voice commands, and that is it, don't forget to post in my message board! (link above)

I have confirmed that there IS a THIRD color of i-Cybie going to be released, I haven't confirmed which color it is YET. This color will not be exclusive to one retailer, so all of us might get it, regardless of where we preordered.

The i-Cybie desktop program is now AVAILABLE, click here to go to the official download page. Also, something else is released, but I can't tell you what it is, or exactly where to get it, go to the i-cybie Yahoo! group to find out. Another thing, the Tiger Electronics Website has been updated, and i-Cybie is on the main page.

Sorry about the long time since my last news update, there wasn't too much news... untill now! Actually, not too much news HAS happened, but IT WILL happen very soon.
1. The official i-Cybie website will be updated near the end of the week!
2. There will be an i-Cybie news letter sent out in about a week!
3. The newsletter will include a link to where we can download an interactive desktop i-Cybie!
4. There might be a third color of i-Cybie!
5. i-Cybie might be released in late May (accent on MIGHT)
6. There might be a link to the i-Cybie comercial soon!

i-Cybie is on AOL, here is the article:
i-Cybie is the newest dog on the block. He starts out just like a

tricks, follow hand claps and obey. He comes with a remote control
and can learn to respond to YOUR voice. When his batteries are in

I wonder if the capitalized "YOUR" means it will only respond to one
person? Also, it says speak and bark, maybe this means it can also
