What We're About

Passage is a Christian alternative rock band formed in February 1999. Our music consists of a lead female and backing vocalists, accompanied by 2 lead guitars, bass guitar, and percussions. All of our songs are original and have been inspired by a variety of musical influences and life experiences God has given to us both as individuals and as a band. Our lyrics reflect these experiences, both good and bad, in a manner where others can relate these experiences to there lives in a positive way, and open their hearts to the Holy Spirit.

We released our first project “For All Eternity” in July, 2001. The tracks on this CD showcase a blend of Rock, Alternative, and Soft Ballad themed songs. In June, 2003, we released a single “Distant Thunder” to radio stations across the United States and are currently promoting the single on our Northern California Distant Thunder Tour.

The musical talent in our band consists of: Windy Irby- lead vocals and song writer, Alvin Irby- lead / rhythm guitar and song writer, Steve Sharp- lead / rhythm guitar and song writer,  Keith Miller- Drums / Percussions, Kenny Park- Bass.

In Closing:
Passage is more than just a band of musicians, we are a family that share a love for music and have a common drive to reach our goals. We support and inspire each other so we may succeed both as individuals and as a band. We rely upon the Lord to strengthen and guide our ministry so that through us, others can hear the Word of God, and be touched by the Holy Spirit.
