THE
JOURNEY HOME
By Aubrey W.A.Weldon, Esq.
Physical force has
always been used for the regulation of
human behavior to determine who gets what, when, where, and how. Only
the physically strong survived. We have some evidence of how humans lived in
small groups with tribal pecking orders and oral traditions. It would appear to
me that the population explosion and the food supply would become the driving
force for rules and regulations other than physical force, coupled with the
appreciation of human life as something to value.
Long before Moses and his Bible, humans were living under rules and regulations. We are often reminded, even in modern times, that physical force plays a large part in achieving desired results as to who gets what resources. As humans begin to populate the earth over 30,000 years ago, they were mainly hunters and gatherers, moving about the earth until devising a means to make permanent settlements a viable alternative for survival.
The physical evidence found concerning written laws was the Codes of Hammurabi, around 1291 BC. The French discovered the tablets that were well preserved. There were twenty-eight different writings that provided remedies for the sale of goods, personal injury, and property rights. There were laws about the conduct of judges and for doctors who were accused of malpractice. This was indeed, one of the early attempts by humans to rule themselves with written laws. Later, we had the introduction of the Hebrew laws as set down by Moses in the first five- (5) books of the Bible. The pervasive laws that affected the development of western civilization were the Ten Commandants. Of course, Roman Law and the English Common Law became the foundation for American Laws.
The main function of law was to preserve private property, dispute resolution, and the maintenance of the political order. I never questioned the moral basis for these laws until much later in life; morality itself was a vague concept for me. Not having much of a religious sense about life except being forced to attend church; an experience that was unbearable. My mother had told me about how important it was to treat other people like I wanted to be treated; that turned out at the center of what is called morality.
My past readings had taught me that the basis of all morality starts with the right of a human to his own life, and that all other laws flowed from that premise. Of course, slavery in the world made that idea ludicrous. The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness came a lot later in human evolution, and even those ideas were planted in the face of slavery. So where did a moral basis for the law as we know it come from? Morality is about doing what is good and right for humans.
Allowing humans to keep their life was right at the top of the list. The right to make a living, to have shelter and food was at least second to the first one, but the right to possess property and have it protected by law has posed the greatest threat to human morality. Property rights far exceeded the basic right to ones life and security in most countries. My economic classes taught me the scheme of Capitalism as a system of distribution of goods and services and it makes a valiant attempt to reconcile these two opposing principles, the right to make a living to survive and the right to own property. Here is where the greatest struggle for morality takes place everyday.
We are all well aware of the drawbacks of a price driven system and the scarcity of money. The many methods used to get that money constantly raised issues of morality and how the law was posed to deal with them.
One thing that did not help was that the ones who make
the laws had all the money and the property, and that most laws were aimed at
protecting their property. All of these ideas intrigued me. It made me wan to understand and to help
teach others about this country.
My college
life was filled with new experiences. My focused was on any issues legally
related. I had a good understanding of the evolution of American Law and the
importance of the United States Constitution. My desire to go to law school was
getting stronger and stronger. The far-reaching traditions of slavery and
indentured servitude would play a major role in the evolution of property
rights vs. human rights.
The merchants were not a part of the King based system and were treated as mere outlaws and outsiders. They had there own law, guilds, and traditions. Merchants as a class were considered as rebels and revolutionaries to be contained.
As merchants began to explore the world for riches, they used the
church courts and clerics to draw up contracts and to settle contract disputes.
The clerics could read and write and that was their claim to fame. It is
difficult to believe that the legal profession evolved out of the role of the
cleric.
Merchants had to share their riches with the church to pay for legal
services. Eventually, the King wanted a part of this action so he permitted the
merchants to use the King Courts to file actions and settle disputes. Merchants
and the legal class were to become important players in the opening of the New
World.
The merchants were the founders of most of the
colonies in America. The people escaping religious persecution came to America
and set up colonies as well, however, the merchant class had the biggest
trading colonies. During this period of time, law was still coming from and
enforced by England. Spain was busy developing the West Coast of America with
its laws and churches while of the descendents of England, France and Germany
were busily developing the East Coast with its laws and traditions.
The slave tradition in America and the treatment of the Indians by the
Spanish and the English, French, and Germans resulted in many wars being fought
on both of those issues. Many of my thoughts were about the law. How did humans
create it? Why was it created? Who created it first? Could humans live without
law?
After reading many books about the philosophy
of law. It appeared to be what was commanded by the powerful is written, and
the less powerful had to abide by it for some higher purpose, i.e., the welfare
of the state. Not being satisfied with those writings cause me to go deeper.
Were humans
innately compelled to follow rules? Did rules compel humans to act innately?
What came first, humans or law? They must have evolved together because it was
ludicrous to think that laws could exist without humans or that humans could
exist without laws. A lot of wired ideas floated though my head late at night.
The story about how the U.S. Constitution became the law of the land in
America is intriguing. The system that
was in England was transferred to the colonies in various forms. The Founding
Fathers of America were merchants. They held property and bought and sold
goods. When they revolted against the power of England, they transferred the
King power to the colonies.
There were several attempts to write a constitution as the supreme
power of the land rather than having a King. Merchants decided that the power
of government being in one person was unacceptable. They all understood the
warning by Lord Bacon, “ Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
They decided to split the power of the King between three agencies of
government, the Executive Branch, the Legislative and the Supreme Court.
Neither agency had power over the other. They could only exercise the powers as
set forth in the United States Constitution. This doctrine was called the
Separation of Powers. A device, when properly applied, would protect humans
from each other. It wasn’t a question of morality, i.e., what was right and good
for humans. It was about how to keep property owners from abusing each other
through the power of the government and the keep the power hungry wealthy off
the backs of the people. The basic
right for a human over his own life, to own property, to pursue happiness was
retained by the people except for slaves and Indians.
The Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution to protect citizens
and property owners from the power of the Federal Government.
According to one great Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall, the
first man of African descent to sit on the Court, the document was flawed from
the very beginning for not protecting the rights of slaves and Indians. This
incredible blunder would haunt the colonies and eventually, the States for
several generations.
After graduating from college and receiving a Bachelor of Science
Degree, I applied to one law school but was not accepted. My studies about the
law continued. University classes in English Literature and the Philosophy of
Law were helpful. The function of legal philosophy is to act as a base for
determining natural rights, just laws, and dealing with what “is.” To interpret
the meaning of the different institutions which uses laws as guidelines to
determine a meaning of the area that exist between natural rights and actual
law, to define the “state of nature” in which men live.
My professor started the discussion about the Greek period of legal
philosophy development. The Greeks taught that the law was based on God,
traditions, moral code and agreement between men. The arguments by Aristotle
were interesting. He held that the formal basis for law is what is just.
Whether it is natural law or positive law, it must be just above all. He said, “One is bound by law, not by the
idea of law. One is bound by enactment and not by custom.” For men, there was
no problem with the idea of justice meaning each citizen follow the same laws
and receives the same results because it appeared to be just.
This was only philosophy but it sounded good. It turns out that the
true ends of law come from whatever course that is necessary to satisfy the
wants of the majority with the least sacrifices. I was soon to find out that
legal studies do not spend much time on the “why” of law but only the “what” it is
and “how” to apply it to human behavior. If a law said, “If one takes the
personal property of another without consent, the person must be subject to
prosecution and unless he or she has some privilege or defense, and if
convicted, must serve the time specified by law.”
I had never really thought about
the nature of property and ownership. My early life wasn’t about the love of
things but of people. I couldn’t understand the desire in humans for material
things. A desire that is strong enough to push them to lie, cheat and steal.
That surely did not apply to me. Even after getting into law school and
graduating, the concept of ownership was lost on me, especially the ownership
of another human being.
In law school, the student learned about contract law, criminal law, codes of civil procedure, and real property law. In the second year there was the law of evidence, constitutional law and corporate law. Also, there were courses in income tax, trust and estates, trademark and copyright law.
These courses taught the student how to discover the rule of law and how to apply it to human behavior. There were many cases to read in each area. It was a great education on how humans create disputes over property, commit acts of invasion into each other’s lives, and how they went about protecting their property from the government and other people.
I never questioned the morality of those laws. Whatever the court decided was good and right and accepted without question by law students. We were being trained to enforce the law as officers of the court.
After learning the truth about morality under the Creator’s laws, I began to pay closer attention to the moral basis for the law of man. It was clear to me that a lot of the criminal laws were reflections of the commandments in the Hebrew Bible, Codes of Hammurabi, and under the English Common Law.
The law of contract, corporation, and tort are creatures of Roman Law. Except for criminal law, the entire civil system is about the regulations and rights in property, and the selling of goods and services, along with the concept of money damages for personal injury to person and damage to property.
Many years after law school I began to question the basis of law and the
question of unjust or immoral laws. My main focus concerned my feelings about
the law and whether a person could be a lawyer and a moral person, a person who
believed in a Creator and wanted to practice the law of his son’s teaching,
Jesus, and other ancient teachers of morality.
I began to explore more about my spiritual life. An older woman at the
library where my research was done mentioned some books for me to read. Ethel
Powell was the lead librarian and was near retirement. She introduced me to the
world of meditation and stress reduction. I had not given much thought to
mental relaxing; never focusing on my brain as an entity that could be
controlled. The first book was “Being Your Own Guru” by Betty Berthoud.
That book taught me how to quiet my mind, how to meditate. I easily
mastered the principles and began meditating on a regular basis and was
beginning to feel more relaxed while working.
This was nothing like what was taught in my mother’s church. I knew
that I wanted out of there after turning fourteen. Now, much later in life my
attention is on going within. It was time learn about the soul, spirit, and the
after life.
While studying about different religions around the world, I continued
to practice law and raise my children.
The books included a few by Shirley MacLaine; “Dancing in the Light and
It’s All In the Playing.” Alan W. Watts, “The Wisdom of Insecurity” and Jane
Roberts, “The Nature of The Psyche. Also, Rabindranath Tagore, “The Religion of
Man” and Vera Stanley Alder, “The Finding of The Third Eye.” I immersed myself
in spiritual learning.
The understanding of sexuality had eluded me for years. I wanted to
know about the fire within and where did it come from. It had turned my life
upside down even though it bought with it a form of happiness. However, the
happiness wasn’t permanent. It was like a narcotic, it felt good while you were
doing it but it felt like you would lose your mind if you didn’t keep getting a
fix. I read books about the forces within human beings that are placed there by
nature; the forces of creation that drive humans to reproduce even when they
don’t want to.
Other readings included H.P. Blavatsky, “The Secret Doctrine,” and
Florence Campbell, “Your Days Are Numbered.” One book I found really exciting
was “The Story of Edgar Cayce” by Thomas Sugrue. The lessons learned were
helpful but it did not feel like the truth.
Altered States of consciousness, and out of body experiences was
interesting, but was not emotionally fulfilling for me.
The legal mind I had developed required evidence that was probative and
admissible in a court of law. There was very little real evidence in the books
I had read up to that point. There were three books that really sparked my
interest and imagination, Levi, “The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ,” Isha
Schwaller De Lubicz, “Her-Bak –The Living Face of Ancient Egypt and the
Egyptian Initiate,” and “The Secret Teachings of Jesus (Four Gnostic Gospels)”
by Marvin W. Meyer.
Even reading the Bible had produced further evidence that may be the
truth about human existence on the earth. Were we put here to eat and procreate
through fornication with no real direction in mind or was there some divine
purpose for the life of humans?
Only solid evidence would help me to feel good about the spiritual
possibilities of humans. That truth had to be one you felt and knew it was
real. Like feeling the sun on your face or the rain fall on your head. I was
still a sense perception advocate until convinced otherwise. It was time to
explore the world and search for truth that is truth for all humans. I did not
realize how deeply I needed answers. At
a young age, truth was my quest. It did not start with school, college or legal
training. It started shortly after birth.
On trips
to Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Brussels, France, Rome, Australia and London, my
interest was in those countries legal systems rather than spiritual matters.
The vacation trips that I considered a semi-spiritual awakening was the one to
Egypt and Jerusalem.
While traveling in Egypt, I was mesmerized about the history of the
ancient kingdoms. After spending two days in the Cairo Museum of Ancient
History, a trip to the Great Pyramid of Giza and entering the second Pyramid
where the history of the ancient Egyptians on the walls, ancient life was clear
to me. In Luxor was the Valley of the Kings, the place where the Pharaohs were
buried. I went into the tomb of
Tutankhamun and Ramses I & II and stopped at the tomb of Nefertiti.
The experience in Egypt was spiritually overwhelming. I learned the
truth of how early humans lived over 10,000 years ago. I left for Jerusalem
late one night on the only weekly flight between Egypt and Israel. It was an
Israeli airline.
We landed in Jerusalem late at night and were taken by taxi to the
hotel. The Inter-Continental Hotel sat on top of Mt Olive. You could see the
old walled city of Jerusalem from the hotel. The next day I went into old
Jerusalem. I walked up to the Wailing Wall and watched the Jews pray and placed
notes in the wall of the ancient temple that was destroyed centuries earlier.
I walked up to the Dome of the Rock. This was where the Muslims prayed
and where they claimed Mohammed left the earth and ascended into heaven. I
found myself walking on the path where Jesus carried the cross to Mt. Calvary
and where he was crucified.
The city was dividend into six different religious sects. One could not
help but feel that something happened there over 2000 years ago that affected
all of the people in a horrific way. It had to have been life changing for the
people on the earth at that time.
The next day, my tour group was taken to the Masada near the Red Sea
where a group of Jews committed suicide rather than being taken prisoners by
the Romans. The site was located on top of a hill. Part of the ramp built by
the Romans to attack the site was still visible. On the return from Masada, We
stopped at the Dead Sea. This was the lowest point of elevation in the world.
Nothing could live in it because of the salt content. You could swim in it but
you couldn’t sink. I got in and floated around. I couldn’t believe it. “What a
place to learn how to swim”, I thought.
After that stop, we boarded the bus and headed for Jericho, the oldest
city in the world. This was an ancient Canaanite City. I recalled stories in my
mother’s church about how Joshua fought the battle of Jericho, and how God made
the walls come tumbling down by the sounds of trumpets. When we arrived in
Jericho we immediately went to the wall. It was still there. “Well,” I thought,
“here is some real evidence.” It was turned into a museum site to preserve
Biblical History.
The next day, we headed for Bethlehem; the place where Christians
believed Jesus was born. On the way, we stopped at the tomb of Sarah, the wife
of Abraham. There were Jews praying and crying at her tomb. I didn’t realize
the importance of it.
When we got to Bethlehem, we didn’t find a manger. We did see a great
big church that had a sign saying, “The manger is in the basement.” I walked
down to the basement where a place was set up like a manger. They said it was
where Jesus was born. It looked a little too commercial for me. I took the
explanation with a grain of salt. As we left the church we observed some of the
Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli Soldiers. I was glad to get out of that
area.
Then we stopped in the city of Hebron for a tourist view. It was an
ancient city with modern shops. I arrived back at my hotel in Jerusalem late in
the evening. The next day, I would be flying back to New York and on to Los
Angeles. Not knowing what to make of all I had experienced, somewhere in the
back of my mind, I felt something of truth but still didn’t know enough to put
it all together.
While still on the plane, I continued to read about spiritual subjects.
I was beginning to see and feel that there was a purpose for life but it was so
well hidden, most people would never discover it. Later that year, I decided to
take another spiritual trip of exploration and was off to India.
I left the day before New Years for a trip to New Delhi, Agra, and
Japur, the pink city. Why India? I had read a few books by Mohandas Karamchand
Gandhi who was born in India in 1869. Educated in his native land and in
England, he became a lawyer in 1889.
After a stay in South Africa, where he fought for the rights of Indians
in that country, he returned to India in 1915 and began working for its
independence. Mahatma (the great soul) Gandhi was the only lawyer I had read
about who was able to reach some spiritual purity.
After studying Gandhi’s life and gaining an understanding of his religious
beliefs, I felt ready to see where Gandhi lived and to visit his grave
memorial. A Hindu who blamed him for the partition of India assassinated him on
January 30, 1948.
Gandhi’s writings and his life affected me. Gandhi gave up his acquired Western way of life to live a life of
abstinence in accordance with Hindu ethics and very quickly became a popular
leader. He served several times as leader of the Indian National Congress and
became celebrated throughout the world for his practice of the policy of
non-violent resistance to British rule. He was jailed on several occasions by
British authorities, but this treatment only served to stiffen his resistance
to India’s status as an English colony.
He was the moving force in conferences that finally led to India’s
independence in 1947, but was deeply disappointed by India’s partition. Gandhi
was a selfless servant of his people and he was also a thinker of simple but
great profundity. His political philosophy viewed service as the highest end of
life and considered the good of others as intimately bound up with one’s own
good.
I wanted to be more like Gandhi but wasn’t sure about how to make the
changes in my life. It took me eighteen hours to get to India. The flight was
via Hawaii, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand. We landed in New Delhi early in
the morning. When we stepped off the plane I could smell and see the air. It
smelled like millions of tires had been burning for years. There was a light
fog covering the airport. We were truly entering a mysterious land.
We were taken to the hotel by taxi. It was a modern hotel full of
people celebrating New Years Eve. Because of the long flight there was no new
years celebration for me; it was straight my room and off to sleep.
The next day during a tour of Deli I was taken to the tomb of Gandhi;
it was a moving experience. Also, we toured the commercial district where we
stopped at a rug factory. We observed small children working on the rugs. Child
labor, I thought. I toured the Hindu part of town and observed some of the
ancient monuments.
The following day we were to fly to Agra but due to fog, there were no
flights. I had to travel by private car to Agra and Japur. I will never forget
that trip. Elephants, camels, and Indians running about half clothed covered
the road. There were men playing with snakes and mongooses. The driver blew his
horn all the way to Agra. I thought, “This was indeed an old land with old
people.”
We made only one stop for lunch at a roadside café and arrived in Agra
late in the evening, checking into the Agra Sheraton Hotel. After dinner, I
went for a walk down the main street in Agra that appeared to be the only main
street. There were a few shops open. The street was full of people. They looked
at me curiously and I looked back at them and I thought to myself, “Nice place
to visit but not to live.”
The next day, a trip was taken to the Taj Mahal. The tomb was built by
a man for his wife as an expression of his love. It was built with such white,
shinny stone, that the whole monument glimmers in the sun. It looked like a
jewel. I walked, with my shoes off, down to the crept. There were people
standing around the place where the wife’s body was buried. It was impressive.
On the way we stopped at a National Park and another roadside café. We
arrived in the pink city late in the evening. We checked into the Taj Mahal
Motel. After dinner, I went for a walk in the downtown area. It was astonishing
to see the poverty, the poor sanitation, and the poor maintenance of the sidewalks
and roads.
The following day was a city tour of Japur. The city was painted pink.
We drove to the largest astrological museum in the world and a museum with the
largest collection of ancient weapons. The battle centuries ago must have been
fierce. All types of swords, knife, chains, metal balls, etc. I thought, “Mans
inhumanity to man still continues but the weapons have changed.”
The next visit was to the palace of the Maharajah. It was the home of
the ancient rulers that was now a museum. An elephant ride took you to the top
and a guide walked you through the palace. It was interesting and entertaining,
especially the room set-aside for love- making. When the candles were turn off,
the ceiling sparkled like the stars.
After a night of rest, we headed back to Delhi arriving in the evening.
I had a flight for Singapore the next morning. From Singapore, I flew to Hong
Kong, then Hawaii. We landed in Los Angeles later that evening.
The trip led me to the deeper meaning of meditation. I had made a small
stool just for that purpose and set up a space in my bedroom just for
meditation. I was learning to go within for long periods of time. I used
incense I purchased in India and a candle. I felt a change inside of myself. I
was becoming happier about life. In the inside I could feel a spiritual glow
that felt like a big happy secret. The longer and deeper I meditated, the
feeling became stronger.
As my spiritual understanding deepened, I recognized the importance of
the legal system in solving disputes but I became more aware of the spiritual
disposition of the people in the legal field. There was a feeling of heavy
shallowness in the conversations around him. I was talking less and listening
more. It was kind of funny as I observed myself in action rather than being a
part of the action. There is a deep sense of spiritual unemployment in the
legal profession.
I didn’t know if the study of the law and its application to complex
humans was the reason for the spiritual shallowness or was it the nature of the
people attracted to the profession. After reading more books on ancient history
and the religions of man and books on Astrology, Numerology, and Chinese
Astrology. The readings about the priest of Egypt and the type of material they
studied and the ideas they had about the universe were fascinating.
I traced the life of Jesus as a boy and how he started to teach the
gospel. Jesus had traveled to different parts of the ancient world teaching
about his father and his relationship with the world. The Dead Sea Scrolls were
the secret teachings of Jesus that were found in Egypt in 1945.
They were kept from the public by the church for over fifty years.
After getting a better understanding of religion and spirituality, I was
learning that the two were not the same.
I found myself moving further from the traditional church teaching
methods to the solid spiritual teachings of Jesus. They felt like the truth and
made the Bible clearer for me. The
lesson in the Dead Sea Scrolls that really opened up my understanding was the
one about forgiveness. Jesus made it clear that in order to be spiritual and
pure in your heart, you had to forgive everyone who you felt had harmed you.
Above all, you had to ask for forgiveness for yourself. One early
morning, during meditation, I asked for forgiveness of all the things I had
done that may have hurt someone. Also, I forgave my father for being too
distant from me, and I forgave anyone who I felt a grudge against including my
ex-wife.
On that day, my life changed. I felt as if a bright sun shinned inside
of me every day. It was more difficult to practice law and keep a straight
face. I was truly disappointed in the state that humans lived in but I wanted
to help.
My new spiritual growth and understanding was taking charge of my life. Within a few years, I was President of my Rotary club, a service organization started by a lawyer and three other
Businessmen. I began to travel around the world to each Rotary Convention and work on community projects to help the poor. The first meeting I attended was in Seoul Korea. After that I went to Portland Oregon, Mexico City, Orlando Florida, Melbourne and Brisbane Australia, Calgary Canada, Glasgow Scotland, Indiana, Singapore, and Argentina. The opportunity for service made me feel better about being a lawyer.
That wasn’t the end of spiritual growth for me. It became necessary to read the Bible to find out more about Prophesy. One of my greatest revelations was the importance of numbers when reading the Bible and understanding the true meaning of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
This knowledge would be a great leap forward in learning about the purpose of humans on the earth and why sex was so debilitating for humans.
After learning some of the Aramaic language that was spoken by Jesus. I wanted to know the truth. No longer was my physical desire on fire, but now it was my heart. I still had sexual desires because as long as I existed in an animal body, sexual desire will persist.
All the legal knowledge I had in law school seemed pale and shallow when compared with the teachings of the Bible. One place in the Bible where Jesus was talking to Martha, (John 11:25),
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."
That teaching is consistent with the meaning of the Pyramid of Giza. By the way, the numbers as applied to Jesus’ name is the number 11. This understanding excited me. I was finally learning something that he felt was the truth.
Several times in the Bible, the Pyramid was referenced to as a truth, especially the book of Isaiah. Isaiah 19:19-20 it reads:
“In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar (Hebrew “Matstsebah” correctly translated means monument) at the border thereof to the Lord. And it shall be for a sign, and for a witness unto the Lord of Hosts in the land of Egypt.” Here is evidence on the earth that told of the coming of Jesus in 2623 BC, years before his birth. What I found even more exciting was the discussions in the Bible concerning Daniel and King Nebuchadnezzar.
As the story goes, one night, the king had a dream that disturbed him. He saw a large figure that had a head of gold, then silver, brass, metal, and clay and metal. Only Daniel, a Jewish slave, could interpret the dream for the King. He told the King that the gold stood for the first generation of mankind, the silver was the second generation, the brass was the third, and metal was the fourth. Metal and clay was the last generation of man before the spiritual kingdom of the Creator would live on the earth.
While I was in the museum in Egypt, I saw the Stone Age and how gold became the quest for mankind, then silver madness came along and later brass and metal was the focus. Now we noticed that in modern construction, metal and clay is predominating.
There was the war museum in India and the metal weapons. In the streets in cities around the world I could see the extensive use of metal and clay.
The Pyramid of Giza’s measurements were based on the number five (5). The number 5 stands for freedom in all directions. The teaching of Jesus was about the freedom of the human spirit. The evidence was overwhelming that the purpose of human life was to learn how to find your spirit and to become one with it and feel the realization of everlasting life.
From ancient times, the science of numbers was used to explain what was happening with the universe. The ancient priesthood numbered the planets in the sky. They kept track of their motions and assigned numbers to their orbits. They used numbers based on one through nine, i.e., ten-based system.
They divided the sky into twelve constellations, giving each a name. They counted how many days it took the Sun and the Moon to move through each constellation. How long did it take each planet to move through each constellation?
The ancient use to say, “The Universe counts.” Later, each number was given a meaning along with each planet. For example, the number one (1) was assigned to the Sun, the number two (2) the Moon, three (3) the planet Venus, four (4) Saturn, the number for the earth, five (5) for Mars, six (6) for Jupiter and seven (7) for Mercury. Later, the numbers were assigned to the alphabet. I wanted to understand it all.
Through the teachings of the ancients, the Bible, and Pyramid of Giza, I learned the true purpose of life on the earth. Jesus said,
“The truth shall make your free,” and it’s the truth.
The Great Pyramid of Giza was built in 2623bc. It was placed on the earth as a symbol of the Creator’s plans for the earth as taught by Jesus, the Christ. The timeline found in the Pyramid tells of the birth of Jesus and his death. According to the Pyramid, Jesus was born on September 29, 2 BC. He died on April 3, 33 ad.
If you use the numbers to evaluate these dates, you will find that September was the 9th month as we have accepted during our time and that 29 is really the number 11.
In numerology, the number 9 stand for universal brotherhood on the earth while the number 11 is the symbol of the teacher. It’s a master number that means it cannot be reduced to it lowest value. The number 2 stands for groups of people, associations and concerned for self.
This means that Jesus was sent here to teach the message of universal brotherhood and love to the people of the earth for this generation and the true meaning of spiritual self that never dies. The date of his death was set in April. April is the fourth month of our current calendar and the number for stands for the earth. There have been many teachers prior to Jesus with the same message every 2150 years.
The number 3 stand for creation of life itself on earth and 33 is the master number for the master of all numbers. Therefore, Jesus’ death was about life on this earth and the creation of life in the spiritual world. It was one of the most important lessons of Jesus, that life is forever, i.e. the spirit of humans last forever.
According to Saint John, Jesus told him that, “the earth was not created by his father.” It was a difficult fact to accept but I wanted to understand. Jesus said that during the spiritual existence of life prior to the creation of the earth, the spirits all lived with the Creator Spirit who created all spirits.
The spirits were called angels. One of his angels, Sophia, created a son without the permission or help of the Creator Spirit. The spirit Sophia had inside of her from the Creator Spirit was passed on to her self- created son.
She named him, Yaldobloth. She was ashamed of his appearance and tried to hide him. Eventually, she sent him out into space. Yaldobloth, while living space alone, decided to create the earth and to place on it a man and woman who would keep him company. He created them in the likeness of the Creator who he observed in the waters of his creation but did not recognize him.
He did not know who the Creator was and could not have recognized him. The Creator Spirit saw what Yaldobloth had done. Just before Yaldobloth was going to put life in his creations, the Creator Spirit placed the breath of life in both of them.
Later, when they refused to obey Yaldobloth, he sent them out of the Garden of Eden without protection to live on the earth. Yaldobloth had created the human body so that it would crave to reproduce itself.
He placed a force so strong within the body it would arouse men and women both day and night, arousing them secretly and visibly; causing their minds to be deranged and their souls to be drunk.
Finally, I understood why the bitter fire within confused and derailed almost every human beings life, including my own. Yet I realized that these teachings also meant that the spirit of the Creator was inside of each human.
I began to understand the purpose of life. The Egyptians called it the journey of the soul. The body is struggling to kill the soul, while the spirit is fighting to
help the soul out of the body. It made perfect sense to me. When Jesus said in the Dead Sea Scrolls:
“The father knows about desire and what the flesh needs. The flesh does not long for the soul. The soul is never saved apart from the spirit, but if the soul is saved from evil then the spirit too is saved and the body becomes sinless. The spirit animates the soul while the body kills it.”
After understanding the secret teachings and accepting their lessons, I was still bothered by something I had read in the Bible that Daniel said about the coming Spiritual Age. Daniel was writing his prophecy about 500 years before Jesus was born. He taught that the Jews would be scattered on the earth a number of years prior to the arrival of the spiritual kingdom. In Daniel 9:24-27, it reads:
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon the holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
Each one of these prophecies had been fulfilled. Jesus came to end the sins of man and die for the ungodly. He anointed 12 Apostles who were appointed to form the foundation of the coming Heavenly Kingdom.
Daniel went on to say, “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the desolations are determined.”
All of these events had to be completed in the seventy-week period. My understanding of the seventy-week period was clear. It was true that all the things mentioned have happen.
The book of Ezekiel, 4:6, states that each day is equal to one year.
Seventy weeks would be 490 days, which is equal to 490 years. According to the
dateline in the Great Pyramid of Giza, the 490 years ended at the death and
resurrection of Jesus, 33AD.
Thus in the midst of the 70th week, Jesus caused sacrifice
and oblation to cease, precisely as foretold five centuries before. The
“troublous times” were happening on the earth as Daniel said they would.
According to scholars, the book, “The Great Pyramid Decoded, by E.
Raymond Capt, the Great Pyramid of Giza’s timeline makes 1914 the end of the
“seven times.” We now live in the “troublous times” from that date forward,
“It all started with World War I, followed by a world economic depression, a Second World War, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War,” according to Capt. Later came the Gulf War and not too long ago, the Kosovo War and now the Iraq War.
The question left in my mind is will the spiritual kingdom come and when? Capt’s book indicates that no one has the answer to that question. Even in the Bible it says “that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
It is clear that this new era of Divine rulership, promised and so long prayed for in the Lord’s Prayer,
“Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,” is going to be a reality. Isaiah said, “The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose…And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
According to the Bible, the Kingdom Jesus spoke of will last for 1,000 years on the earth. But it does not provide a date for a beginning as stated. I was fascinated with the thought of what time that date may appear close. In Capt’s book, he said,
“The great millennium spoken of by the prophets in Scriptures is the reign of Christ’s Kingdom on earth. The Great Pyramid of Giza gives clear indication of a 1,000-year period. (10 R. Cubits width of the Queen’s Chamber) This revelation is not inconsistent with the Bible.” He goes on to say, “Although no man is to foreknow the “day and hour” of Christ’s second coming, a study of the Book of Daniel will show that in “that day” an understanding of the prophetic “days” namely, 1335,1290 and 2300 will be found by those who search. These were the year periods ending in the “restoration of all things.”
I thought, “if the end times and troublous times started in 1914, one could at least find a year that might be the one spoken of in the Bible as the great millennium of Divine rule.”
If the use of numbers in the Great Pyramid and the use of numbers in the Bible support the prophecies then it must follow that the numbers can be used to find the end of “troublous times” and the beginning of “spiritual times.”
I had studied about the Ages of man as taught by the early Egyptians priest. They taught that each age was governed by an element, i.e. air, water, earth, and fire. According to the Ancients, each age lasted for 2100 years. The ages were named after the constellations in the Zodiac.
If the Great Pyramid of Giza was built in 2623bc, what age was it? If Jesus’ birth is given as September 29, 2 BC and his age was known as the water age in the Constellation of Pisces, the fish symbol in the sky. The age before would have been the age of fire, the Constellation of Aires, the symbol of the Ram in the sky. The age prior to that would have to be the earth age, the Constellation of the Taurus, the bull symbol in the sky.
Therefore, he was born 521 years after the end of the age of Aires, the fire element. According to Capt., the year used by the Great Pyramid of Giza as the reference year for measurement was 2141BC. The reason is because the Descending Passages are in exact alignment with the North Star.
“In response to a question if the North Star ever shone directly down the Descending Passage, Sir John Herschel, the famous Astronomer Royal of England, ascertained in 1840 that only in the 22nd century BC did the then North Star or Pole Star, known as Draconis (Dragon Star), so shine.
No other Pole Star in history has ever been in that exact position. The Pleiades or “Seven Sister,” in the constellation of Taurus (the Bull) was in alignment with the measuring line. According to the measuring line the actual construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza started in 2623BC.”
According to the Great Pyramid, Jesus was born 2139 years after the reference year, which places his birth at 2BC, at the end of the age of the Ram. The Pisces age of water will end the year 2140AD. Then we will enter the Age of Aquarius, the air element. The air age is noted for being the Spiritual Age. Modern thinkers called it the information age, the communication age, and several other material classifications.
The ancients called it the Spiritual Age. I made my own calculations and believe it will be the age of the coming of Divine Kingdom on the earth. 2140 AD is the number 7, the symbol for completion. I was satisfied with the answers I had found and that the all of the evidence points to 2140 AD is the time period when Jesus will return to the earth.
In the Dead Sea Scrolls, Jesus said some shocking things about merchants. He said: “It was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it was for a merchant to go to heaven.”
He was clearly saying that it’s immoral to be a merchant. Was I a merchant by practicing law? I didn’t think so, even though I was paid to advise on law and prepare documents for them, I didn’t think what I am doing is immoral.
The teachings of Jesus were clear to me. He said: “Love thy God with all the heart, all thy soul and all thy mind, and to love thy neighbor as thy self.”
These were the most important commandments according to him. I did not believe that what I did would prevent him from doing what Jesus said was necessary to find the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is within us and all around us.
Most lawyers want to do what is right and good for humans, but those who have adapted the morals of merchants, especially in advocacy, will not get through the needle.
Cost benefit analysis used by merchants to make a profit means being only concerned with getting the cheapest price and the greatest benefit. This thinking is just about getting value for your money and accumulating as much money as possible.
Lawyers who run their practice with this same view in mind will probably go the way of the merchant when the spiritual kingdom comes upon the earth, they will be left behind to suffer the wrath of God.
Spiritual laws are quite different from human laws. Spiritual laws are about the transformation of the soul with the spirit to avoid death inside the body. Human laws are about regulating physical conduct and property on the
earth. One has nothing to do with the other.
The sense of duplicity that exists inside of humans is because of this dichotomy. The churches have struggled for centuries to explain how one should live between these two different kingdoms. It has generated great material wealth for churches but the struggle between the body and the soul-spirit continues.
Furthermore, with the demands of capitalism and the merchant creed, most humans fail miserably in attaining their spiritual salvation. The merchant community is filled with non-believers in a spiritual kingdom. The complete reliance on the church to achieve salvation is a horrendous mistake.
The way to salvation is an individual journey that must be achieved through education and practice. As I said before, Jesus said: “the kingdom of heaven is within you and all around you. To find the kingdom, you must fast from the world.”
This is not an easy task and it cannot be spoon-fed to you by a church. To find the path to salvation that exists inside of us is narrow and only a few will find it. Jesus said: “Only one in ten thousand will be saved.”
Real spiritual growth has happened to me. My understanding of the use of numbers in history and the revelations in the Great Pyramid of Giza was exciting and captivating. According to numerology, the word “salvation” is the number 5.
This is the same number for the Great Pyramid of Giza, the monument containing the path for the life of Jesus, with his message, the freedom of the soul with the spirit within it. Now, it was crystal clear for me. Once again, Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life, and he that believeth in me though he be dead yet shall he live and he who liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”
He said that to Martha and Mary just before he raised Lazarus, their brother, from the grave. Lazarus had been dead for 4 days. The number 4 in numerology means, of the earth.
To believe what this lesson taught, “ your spirit lasts forever,” is what the word faith meant. If you believed that lesson then you had faith. Not the way most people use the word. Having faith that something will come out right, having faith in oneself, etc. Faith is believing in ever lasting life.
It simply meant that if you believe that your spirit lives forever, just
like Martha and Mary, and that your soul when impregnated with the spirit will
survive the death of the body, then you have faith. Faith is set by the number
8 and that number stands for the Creator.
Clearly, I now believed in the resurrection and I believe my
spirit-soul will live forever. Finally, I feel free! I recognized the true
purpose of life within the body. If the soul-spirit did not escape from the
bitter fire that was consuming the body, the soul was doomed. Only the spirit
could save it. So it made perfect sense when Jesus said:
“Remember the word, the first aspect of the word is faith, the second
is love, and the third is doing good works, from these comes life. The spirit
animates the soul but the body kills it.”
I needed no more evidence, I was satisfied, and I am free. Jesus said:
“The truth shall make you free.”
My legal mind was no longer contrary to my spiritual existence. As long
as I keep the faith, love my neighbor, and do good works, I will be saved. I
could help others understand the role of human laws for earthly concerns and I
can serve in my community through public service.
Finally, I feel like a complete
person, a person ready and willing to serve. What man’s law commanded for the
needs of property owners and wealth holders on the earth was beyond my will
because I am was now following the Creators will.
We have a legal duty as lawyers to enforce man’s law but not allow it
to destroy the spirit in our soul. Where there was a conflict between the
Creator’s will and man’s will through the law, I will only follow the Creator’s
will. I understood man’s law for what it stands for and in the spiritual scheme
of things; it’s worth very little. As Jesus said: “What does it profit a man to
gain the whole world and to lose his own soul?”
I wanted to be through with the flesh I live in but I know the real reason
why that is impossible. The needs of the flesh will still strive within me, but
now I recognized it for what it is and what it was trying to do, perpetuate its
survival. Again, Jesus gave directions for he said: “For the father knows about desire and what the flesh needs. The
flesh does not long for the soul and the spirit is never saved apart from the
soul. If the soul is saved from evil then the spirit too is saved and the body
becomes sinless.”
The struggle was going to be with evil and the desires of the flesh. I
had to keep my spirit strong by faith and to keep my soul from evil. I had to
live outside of the bondage of the flesh. One must be like the lily in the
pond, touched but not stained.
So what was evil? How could I avoid it? I turned to numerology for the
meaning of the word. The number 3 is the symbol for evil. “That can’t be, I
thought, because the number 3 is the meaning of creation.” Is there a conflict?
Does evil mean doing things that are contrary to creation? I looked for more information
on the number 3. I found out that it was about self- expression, it was about
imagination, and it was about thought. I realized that in a deeper sense, the
number 3 is about energy, the flow of motion and rest. At one point, Jesus was
asked about the nature of his father and he said: “The evidence of my father is
motion and rest.”
The invisible substance that makes things move and stop is energy.
Energy is the best description for spirit. The Holy Spirit is what makes us
move and rest. It’s like electricity, it gives us light and makes things move,
but we can’t see it.
I found an interesting discussion on the Holy Spirit in a Hindu
text. It describes creation by saying
that the first cause is the infinite and eternal cause, the Holy Spirit. From the
Holy Spirit comes pre-thought and from the Holy Spirit comes thought, the word.
It goes on to say that from the thoughts of mankind comes the creation of
duality in nature, the bondage of karma.
One could clearly see that evil was about thoughts, i.e., imagination,
self-expression, but what kind of thought was evil? Karma is described as being multiple thought forms inside of
humans that result in bondage on the earth. Then our thoughts must be where the
creation of evil comes from. “What’s an evil thought? What is evil behavior?”
The teachings of the Hebrew Bible, the Ten Commandments set forth what
behavior is evil, i.e., killing other humans, lying, false witness, adultery,
stealing, etc. but what about evil thought?
To Adam there could be but only one answer.
If thought is not based on a holy thought then it had to be evil. A
holy thought would come from the Holy Spirit within. The Holy Spirit is shared
by all humanity therefore any thoughts or actions to cause harm to humanity
would be evil. It would be against the Holy Spirit. I thought, “If I am of the Holy Spirit and so is my neighbor,
then if I harm my neighbor, I harm myself. So, any thought to cause harm to
others is evil.”
In one of my books a writer said, “It’s not important what you think
you are, but what you think, you are.” If your thoughts are focused on harming
others, then you will. Jesus said, “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt
fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. A good man out of
the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil
man out of the evil treasures of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
I began to watch the nature of my thoughts that came from my heart.
What was I to do when a half-naked woman approached me or walked in my
presence? What should I think? How should I act? What can I do to prevent the fire within my body that inflames my
spirit and create thoughts of lust and desire? Could I have a girlfriend and
have sex with her without killing my soul?
I wanted to be a good man and to have my steps guided by the Holy
Spirit. I felt no answers springing forth.
In the country I lived in and in most of the world, there is a large
focus on sex. The shape and appearance of the female and male body is given a
lot of attention. At every turn, we are reminded of female legs, breasts, hair,
face, eyes and ass; the male’s chest, hair, legs, shoulders, and ass. Almost
every merchant uses these symbols of sexuality to sell a product.
Clearly, the Muslim world went in the other
direction, forbidding the exploitation of the human body for commercial reasons
or by not allowing the female to show her skin in public. For as they say, that
is the Will of Allah. I knew that I had only to be concerned with the sexuality
exploitation in his country. I couldn’t live in a cave; I would not walk around
with a blindfold, so what was the thing to do that would be right and good for
spirit-soul?
The teaching of Jesus concerning the treatment of other humans was
clear. If they are a part of you then you must treat them the way you want to
be treated. In the Hebrew Bible, Jesus said in Luke, we must “love our enemies,
be good to them which hate you. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them
which despitefully use you.”
He goes on to say, “lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward
shall be great….be merciful, as your father is also merciful, judge not and ye
shall not be judged, condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; forgive, and
ye shall be forgiven.”
It is clear from these teachings that each human is your brother or
your sister. We are one! The reason for behaving in this manner is to save
your-self from evil. When it comes to fornication (sex), Jesus only reminds us
of what it feels like to be in the body and the struggle involved. He said,
“Miserable is the body that depends on another body, and miserable is the soul
that depends on the two of them.”
If your focus in life is on sex and you depend on it for happiness in
life, then you are going to be miserable.
It does not say you should not have sex, but if you depend on it, you
are in trouble. He said, “Everyone who seeks truth from true wisdom will
fashion wings in order to fly away and escape from the passion that inflames
the human spirit.”
This to mean that our thoughts should be focused on doing good and
avoiding evil. We are stuck in the body but we must believe in the teachings
and pray for deliverance. I had read in the Dead Sea Scrolls that Jesus was
asked about people who do not believe in the teachings and he said, “Do not think of them as human beings, but
consider them as animals. For animals devour each other, so people like this
devour each other. Moreover, the kingdom is taken from them, since they love
the delights of fire, they are slaves of death, and they revel in filth. They
fulfill the lust of their parents.
These people will be thrown down into hell, and will be beaten, as
their bitter, wicked natures deserve. They will be whipped to drive them down
to the unknown, and will leave the limbs of their bodies behind, not with
courage but with despair.” He went on to say,
“Yet these people, being foolish and mad, are happy in the anxieties of
this life. Some of those who rush into this madness, do not realize they are
foolish, but think they are wise. They are drawn to the beauty of the body, as
if it would not perish, their minds turn to themselves, their thoughts are on
their own pursuits, but the fire will consume them.”
I knew this was true. I had experienced it all of my life. I felt that
the way to avoid the temptations of the flesh was to trust in the teaching of
Jesus. Each day, I had to ask the Creator for guidance, that his Will might be
done. Jesus said: “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give
it to you….ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.”
I believed that if I prayed everyday in Jesus’ name, asking the Creator
for guidance, I would avoid a lot of unnecessary sexual arousal. As long as I
lived in the flesh, fornication would be an issue. That is why Jesus said:
“Watch and pray that you may not be born in the flesh, but that you may leave
the bitter bondage of this life. When you pray, you will find rest, for you
have left pain and abuse behind. When you leave bodily pains and passion, you
will receive rest from the Good One, and you will reign with the King, you
united with the King and the King united with you, now and forever and ever.”
Thus far, praying every day is working quite well for me. Over the past
eighteen years, I have stayed in a close relationship with one woman.
Temptations never go away. The battle would never be over and that the war
would never be won until I passed out of his body.
The urge to look at a woman’s body and the desire to have sex with her
is the only response the body has to another body. It is the consciousness of
the body. It’s the natural response for its survival. That’s all it is. I had
to acknowledge that fact, accept that fact, and let the Creator guide my life.
There is so much more to be said about sex, religion and the law. For
now, I am satisfied that I am on the right path. Only time will tell whether or
not his soul and spirit will survive the burden of the bitter fire within.
Several books have been published saying the story of Jesus in the
Bible is fraudulent. They claim that the Roman Catholic Church was responsible
for the writing of the New Testament and the evidence suggest that the four
main gospels concerning the life of Jesus have different conclusions and
conflicting accounts. Some argue that the books were written to help establish
the State religion for the Roman Empire.
They conclude that the entire story of Jesus based on the Solar System
as followed by the Pagans.
It can be said that mankind’s relation with the solar system was the
source of the first religious symbols and myths about the nature of life and
death and was used to explain existence.
In some cultures, the days of the week are still named after the planets
in modern times.
