WHY ARE AMERICANS IN DANGER…WHY AM I A TARGET?

If I am going to be killed for being an American at this time in history then I would like to understand the root causes of my pending death. How come I am just finding out now that I have become a target in the world’s shooting gallery?

 

The government reminds me every day that I may be next. Are the innocence spared? Are the ones who can only stand by and watch their government’s international policies make them targets accountable for this situation?

 

There is a reasonable explanation for the way things are at this point in time and it goes something like this.

 

Imagine if you owned a home in a nice neighborhood. Most of your neighbors were nice people except for the ones next door. They are of a different religion and you don’t think they have a right to live in your neighborhood though they claim historical rights to the place.

 

Suddenly, a person off the street moves into your house at the request of your parents so they can make a little extra money.  That person decides to stay for a long period of time. The person starts to consume most of the food in the house. They turn out to be best friends with the neighbors next door.  They make fun of your sacred symbols in the house and they force you to host some their own guest.  As a child in this household you find the entire situation unbearable and intolerable. You feel violated in the worst way. Your parents won’t listen to you because they don’t want to lose the money they are getting from this person and his guests. What would you do?

 

What if the guidance you only had were your religious beliefs that taught you that it’s a sin if you don’t defend your house and your religion.  What if you felt it was your duty to remove these unwanted guest and even your parents in order to defend your faith? What would you do?

 

You realize that this person is militarily stronger than your parents and can pretty much dictate what happens in your house and the food supply.  Later you find out that this same person has put some of his friends in other homes in your neighborhood by force and violence. What can you do?

 

One way is to find a group of like-minded people and you develop a plan to get ride of these unwanted guest. You set up a base of operation that is flexible and easily moved. Within this base you train the young men and women of your neighborhood how to make weapons of mass destruction, how to be suicide bombers, and how to attack people who appear to support what the unwanted guest is doing. You can’t attack the person in your house directly because of his undaunting power. So you train your friends and your invite other sympathizers to join your cause. Your plan is to attack them where they least expect it. To attack anything that symbolizes what your unwanted guest stand for even if it means killing innocents.  If you don’t defend your house and your religion you will go to hell!

 

If you live in the country that the person and his unwanted guest represent are you just as liable for their behavior and are subject to the consequences of their actions? Even if you disagree with what that person is doing are you still accountable? The answer is, yes!

 

What if the person tells you that the reasons he is in this other person’s house is because it’s in your national interest to be there and have access to the other persons food supply. What if they tell you that if the people who don’t like what you are doing attack and kill you it’s because they don’t like your way of life. They don’t like your freedoms and the specifically don’t like you because you are free.  Are you a little confused right now?

 

How come you are just now telling me this? How come the media has not been keeping me informed of the reasons for this threat to my life? Why are the media and the movies telling us that there is a constant threat of something but I am never told why? Just be afraid, very afraid. What’s wrong with this picture? Aren’t the people who control my media and the movies fair and balanced in their reporting? What interest do they have in another man’s house and his religion? What’s the real truth? Where can I find out what’s really going on?  Why am I a target and now facing a pending death?

 

As an American, I am not afraid of this pending death, I am just disappointed and saddened that my government did not think enough of me to teach me on a regular bases about our international polices at a young age and keep me informed of the national interests.  Should I have known better? Is it my own fault? Maybe I deserve to die for being so appallingly ignorant, irrational, anti-intellectual and just plain stupid.
