Pitts S2B May 2003 at Henry County (7W5)
The Pitts S2B is a 2 seat aerobatic plane with a 260hp engine and outstanding performance. This plane is capable of advanced aerobatic maneuvers and it is used for instruction at the Napoleon airport in Northwest Ohio.

Piper Apache N727JJ PA-23-160 at Wauseon Aug 2004
The Piper Apache is a 1950s vintage aircraft design for a light multi-engine aircraft. Most Apaches are now used for training. This plane was built in 1955 and is used for multi-engine instruction at Wauseon airport near Toledo, Ohio.

DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver near Seattle July 2005
The DeHavilland Beaver is a legendary plane in Canada and Alaska. The plane has 8 seats, a 2100lb useful load, and a 450hp radial engine. This plane, N17598, was originally built in 1958 and was recently rebuilt by Kenmore Air in Seattle. It is used for airline flying in the Pacific Northwest, along with occasional flight training.

The Blue Ash Meteors Cherokee Six 300 and Archer II at Blue Ash (ISZ)
Both of these planes belong to the Blue Ash Meteors Flying Club in Cincinnati. The 1971 Cherokee Six, and the 1977 Archer II are both kept up in very nice condition. I flew these planes in 2001 and 2002 while living in Cincinnati.

Cirrus SR-20 - N162CD at Boulder, CO (1V5)
The Cirrus is a relatively new aircraft design with very good performance and a comfortable cabin. The plane also has a parachute system installed, for use in emergencies to bring the entire plane down under a large parachute. This plane was available for rental in Boulder, CO in 2002.
