BEAN DIP'S TECHNICAL INFO!!

The Heart of Bean Dip's System is his Yamaha QX5 FD Digital Sequencer and his Yamaha PSR-85 Keyboard. Bean plays all the background bass,drums and cymbals note by note and stores them in the sequencer. The sequencer in turn will then play the keyboard back again just the way Bean played it originally. It is quite an interesting system. Bean uses a Model 1711,Standard Balladeer,Ovation Guitar which he plays through a Marshall Acoustic Soloist Amplifier. A Peavey XR 600C Mixer handles his vocals and keyboard/sequencer.

Bean plays all his music his way, resulting in a unique sound! He likes a 'walking bass' and likes his drums a little more up-beat than is usually heard. The result is a different sound that has been his trademark.You should try to come out and hear him if you get the chance!! You won't be disappointed!
