Who The Heck Are We?
What Do We Do?
We play music, as is generally the case in a band. What music do we play? Well, as of now, we have played spoofs of Classic Rock songs that you all thought you knew by heart. Notable exceptions are Yellow Submarine, which we play in its original form ('tis sacred) and Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (it doesn't need spoofing), which we can play with any combination of instruments.
Well, there are four members-in-good-standing, a group of friends who suddenly discovered they really needed a hobby:

News and Rumors:
Well, nothing's really happening at the moment. The songwriting effort was pretty much wasted--we're all suffering from a dearth of creativity at the moment. Soon enough, though, we'll get up the gumption to write a song or two. The possibility of our very own album is still hanging there on the horizon... as soon as we write the songs for it.
More recent stuff, though-- Charles and I are beginning work on a banjo. Yes, we'll make it... what's more, we'll learn to play it too. It'll be fun to put some banjo in our songs where it fits (or doesn't fit). Instructions for making a banjo cheap and fast can be found here...
Favorite Bands, Songs & Albums:
At the moment (the band's preferences change constantly), some of their all-time favorite music to listen to is by these bands: Creed, the Beatles, Smash Mouth, Charlie Daniels, Queen, the Grateful Dead, the Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, the Allman Brothers, Billy Joel, and '38 Special.
Songs they all agree to be the best are Yellow Submarine, Turn On Your Love Light, The Devil Went Down To Georgia, and a few other songs they hear on the radio but do not know the name of.

Band Bio:
This band was born in a lunchroom. One day in August or September, the respective members came to the conclusion that they would all die of boredom if no entertaining hobby was found. So, they decided on the name "Mostly Harmless" and agreed to perform whenever the chance arose. Their first performance was at a school silent auction, and they have since performed at private gatherings, a charity, and other places including a member's living room. Then, just recently, they changed the name to One Short because everyone, when questioned, seemed to think it was a better name (we do not have a drummer, and also the lead vocalist [Greg E.] is about a foot shorter than everyone else. Figure it out.)
