Hi My dad and I put back together the Ohio George MALCO
gasser 33 Willys . and most people remember dads OVERLAND EXPRESS 33 all steel red delivery street rod from 1970. We have had a nice collection of some very unique cars. Including the unrestored world champion 33 Willys of Virgle Cates the flying junkman.I sold this car a couple years back .
My dad and I bought this car right out of the basement of Virgs speed shop. After his untimely death in 1984 . This is where it was placed when he started
racing the opal. This car is in great shape unrestored and as last run. Very complete
the car has only been out in the world 6 times since 1969. I believe this to be the best unrestored 33 Willys gasser in the world. Missing only minor engine parts to make it run.This gasser was painted by Angelo who moved to California after painting this car. He gained quite a cult following much like Big Daddy Roth. The paint on this car is unbelievable
Engine in a small block chevy built for c/gas supercharged (small cubic inches) girdle on main caps. Crank shaft compny crank. Mickey Tompson Alum rods and pistons. Crane Cam and fireball heads. Sneeky Pete 6-71 blower. B+M Clutch flight transmission (tork flight with a clutch.) Old stlye Olds-Pontiac rear end .
