In 1964, Bud Adams decided to change his helmet design. For the next two seasons, while the team declined, fans watched them play in the style shown. On this helmet, extra drill holes have been filled in with silver-painted rivets. It has gray two-bar facemask and one-buckle chinstrap, just like Charley.
