28 ABNER HAYNES HB Denver Broncos 1965-66  6'  190  North Texas State  Age 28:
For a team with American Football League superstars like Cookie Gilchrist and Abner Haynes, the Broncos were last in scoring with the all-time AFL-record-low of 196 points. This was the last great season for the league's first superstar. Haynes was not only the Broncos top pass receiver (46 catches), but he was also Denver's best punt returner. Abner finished second on Broncos in rushing with 304 yards. He ran back nine kickoffs and threw two passes. Abner would end up playing with two other AFL clubs before he hung 'em up - the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets.
Two-bar facemask and one-buckle chin strap just like Abner used to wear.
Rear view with Abner Haynes familiar number 28. The 28 is one-inch white helvetica. Note no rear bumper.
