It occured to me to use the tulip foliage as O'Keeffe had painted the left and right sides of "Cow's Skull: Red, White and Blue". This is all that was left of my late tulips nearing the close of May, I'd first thought to try white flowers as in "Calico Rose" as I'd wanted a high key effect, but the crumpled tulip is a better idea, really.
