About Cabin Hill Cabin Hill Stables is a Standardbred horse farm, located in Fredericktown, Ohio. Our training is done in Mount Vernon, Ohio at the Knox Co. Fairgrounds. The farm and training facility are just 50 miles northeast of Columbus. We are an hour and a half from Scioto Downs and 2 hours away from Northfield Park. Dale McVay, is our trainer and has over 15 years experience in training and driving Standardbred horses. His father, Norman, has joined us and offers over 20 years of experience training and driving. The rest of the Cabin Hill staff includes Dales' wife, Wendy, who takes care of business affairs and Judy McVay, who also helps with business affairs. Cabin Hill really is a family operation and horses here are treated like part of the family.

Services and Horses Cabin Hill is currently excepting horses for breaking or training of any age. Our rates are reasonable and your horse will get the training and care they deserve. Horses currently in the Stable are......"Brandino" a 3yr old Nukes Image Gelding, "CH Miss Stephanie" a 2yr old Nukes Image filly and "Fantastic Hannah" a Camtastic yearling filly.
