Eclipse:  An exhilarating summer camp for kids!         2001                  For boys and girls, ages 9 - 12
At camp Eclipse we recognize that not all kids want to be super-athletes.  We also know that all kids inherently love to move.  So at camp Eclipse, movement is fun!  We combine endurance activities with coordination and balance skills in a way that develops fitness while encouraging the confidence children need to move freely.

We also understand that a fit body helps develop a fit mind.  Many of our physical activities include a mental challenge.  We feel this gives kids a chance to develop the problem solving and positive social skills necessary to effectively manage the challenges of a busy life in the Bay Area.  We encourage children to develop leadership and team skills by incorporating special challenges into group physical activities.

Camp Directors:
Chris Goolkasian and Susan Spence have over twenty five years combined experience in helping children learn to have fun with movement, develop better balance and coordination, and improve their endurance.  Susan has over fifteen years experience in the martial art Aikido, training and instructing both adults and children.  Bettina McKee is a credentialed school teacher and sports coach with expertise in designing physical education activities.
