Hello There. Blessings to You Today!
My name is Celeste Ann Lawson. My family also uses an affectionate preppy nickname for me "Muffy" -- stemming after my favorite nursery rhyme from when I was little called "Little Miss Muffet . . . ." To this day, I am still TERRIFIED of spiders and my family will always call me "Muffy” (except when they’re irked with me or I’m in trouble in which case they’ll call me Celeste Ann).
I live in Darien, Illinois with my parents, "Barbie and Ken." I have two sisters, Cindy (and a great brother-in-law, Joe) and Kate, as well as living grandparents, 30 firstcousins, tons of aunts/uncles, and second cousins galore. I also have two kittens, BamBam & Pebbles.
I am definitely not preachy or a fundamentalist, but am not ashamed of my own personal faith. I am I'm a strong Christian believer in Jesus Christ; I seek to honor Him in all I do - modeling my life by example and through good deeds.

Making a difference in others Lives
I attend Christ Church of OakBrook in Illinois. There I am involved with the highschool outreach: teaching a challenging Sunday school class on World Religions. I volunteer with senior citizens, sing in the church choir, and am involved in a small group/local bible study/Prayer & Care team. I volunteer in a prison GED ministries tutoring program. I especially cherish making dreams/miracles happen in the lives of children with life-threatening diseases through my work as a volunteer Make-A-Wish wish-granter with one of my best friends, Janet. I‘ve been active in college Republican politics/publications and then in DC at think-tanks/public policy organizations, but have taken a break since I've returned home to Chicago, although reserve the right to get back involved at a later time.

***The photo posted of me is in London's Trafalgar Square "feeding the birds." -- Like in the movie Mary Poppins which I love.-- The city wants to clean up what they call a mess, but I'd encourage them to keep this reminiscent happiness of tourists of all ages who enjoy the tradition and come back time & time again for the nostalgic practice. ***
