The Classic Plastick Toy Company - FAQs
Or 'Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Classic Plastick...'
_______________________________________________
1) Can I wear your boots, masks, gloves or costumes?

No, you can't. Why? Because everything you see pictured is made for a doll. The masks will NOT fit your head for your next costume party. Neither can I make you a pair of Aquaman boots, size 10 1/2.

Just so there's no confusion: Classic Plastick masks, gloves, boots and costumes- everything pictured and offered for sale on this website - is made for a GI Joe sized action figure, NOT for full-sized people.

Not only that but everything pictured and offered for sale on this website is made for 1/6th scale action figures, NOT for real people.

2) How do I order stuff from Classic Plastick?

Most of the pages now include PayPal shopping cart buttons for individual items. If you don't see a button yet for something you need or a custom request, just drop me an email: classicplastick@aol.com and let me know what you'd like. I'll give you a total including postage. Simple.

3) How do I pay for my order?

    You can:
A) send a Postal Money Order payable to 'Classic Plastick' to:

Classic Plastick
3720A Davidsburg Rd. A15
Dover PA 17315

or
B) pay via PayPal to 'classicplastick@aol.com'.

4) Can I pay by personal check?

    Nope.

5) Should I pay for my order now?

Why, yes, thank you. Getting paid up front helps keep me supplied so I can not only keep things moving but develop new stuff as well. Please bear in mind, however, that this is a one-horse-show so paying upfront will NOT guarantee a delivery date or get you moved to the head of the class, as it were. It just means your stuff will ship as soon as it's done, dry and wrapped for mail.

6) Can I make pay installments on a large order?

Sorry, no. I'd like to accomodate, believe me. If I weren't making this stuff I probably would be asking the same thing because 'play' money is harder to come by than spare time. Trouble is, should something come up that prevents you from completing the deal, I'd probably have spent your down payment on another toy for my collection! Save your pennies and LMK what you need when your piggy bank is full!
There are, of course, exceptions to every rule; see #15 below.

7) Can I get a discount if I buy five items at once?

Aaahhh, no. Try that at Sears, not here. Hey, a poem, hahaha!

8) How will you ship my order?

I use the US Postal Service first class mail. Three dollars covers most orders, five clams if you want Priority (though they often tell me in hushed tones at the PO that the timing is pretty much the same for envelopes and small boxes.) And, of course, you can insure any size order or dollar amount, that's entirely up to you.

9) Do I have to buy insurance for my order?

Nope, it's your call. I send almost everything without insurance and have had very few problems. Here's some very important 'fine print' though:

Classic Plastick will not be responsible for replacing items that are lost, misdirected or damaged in the mail. If you can't afford to lose it, insure it.

Since I can't afford to make your order twice or refund your money if something is damaged or goes missing, it's up to you to protect your investment especially if it's a sizeable chunk of change involved.

One last note about mail: Double check all the address info you provide, especially your eBay and Paypal info to be sure it's up to date and consistent. When you order and pay through those venues, your auto-supplied info is usually where I grab the address for mailing.

10) How long will it take to get my stuff?

Sometimes I have a few items 'in stock' and they'll go out next mail day, usually Mondays and Fridays. But not always.
Otherwise I can only say it'll take the time it takes. I'm not in the habit of holding guys over a barrel but neither am I doing this like it's a regular job so the pressure becomes unbearable! I use a coupla third party makers as well and sometimes that speeds up the process, sometimes not.
I appreciate your patronage and your patience while I make your stuff and make it right!

11) Can I buy just a solid head?

Sure, most of my custom heads are now available here: HEADS
If it's not on that page, it's not available separately.

Custom commissioned head sculptures? See #14 below.

12) Can you tell me how to makes gloves or masks?

I could... but then I'd have to kill you. No, seriously, I started my little homespun enterprise after the inspiration of people like Polo 'ApeJoe' Moreno, Dave Katz and Jim 'Jimbobwan' Stelling. Using their example as a jumping off point, I've found my own way to create most of the things I offer. Most molding and casting materials manufacturers have 'how-to' pages at their websites and there are groups out there who do the same, sharing tips and tricks. Go find 'em! There's no better way to create your own stuff than good ol' trial-and-error. Beyond that it comes down to innate creativity, having fun and adding your own 'stamp' to what you make!

13) When will you offer that SpiderMan repro outfit, complete Space Ghost figure, Birdman, George Reeves Superman, Man from U.N.C.L.E, John Wayne, Zorro, et al, ad infinitum?

    Any day now! Stay Tuned!

14) Will you offer Captain Action masks again?

I've re-upped the Masks page featuring the latest form-fitting masks for Dr. Evil. Stay tuned because I'll be working on new characters and new and better molds of some old favorites, yay!

15) Do you take custom requests?

Sure, I do! Want Batman gloves in red? A special kind of cloth cape or super-suit? Just drop me an email at classicplastick@aol.com and lemme know what you need! I'm always ready to pitch in with custom colors and styles in gloves, boots and clothing.
Want your mother-in-law's head on a stick... er, I mean, on an action figure? I'm open to commissions for custom heads and complete figures as well with the proviso that it will take the time it takes to get the job done. And it won't be cheap by off-the-rack standards... but it will be money well-spent and well worth the wait too!
Single items- a pair of gloves or boots -can be custom ordered same as our 'production' stuff. Custom orders requiring new sculptures, patterns or complete figure sets will require a non-refundable down payment of 25% of the estimated total.
Not only does that motivate me to get the job done, the moolah committed upfront means we're both sure it's something you really, really want to have and to hold. Neat, huh?

Well, I think that about covers it. Anything I didn't answer feel free to email about. That email again is classicplastick@aol.com

Thanks for your attention!
