The Connecticut SIDS Alliance is dedicated to providing:
1) Support services to grieving parents in the State of Connecticut
2) Educating the public on the latest medical research regarding SIDS
3) Funding medical research to one day eradicate this mysterious disease claiming our children
4) Educating the medical community and first responders on SIDS issues and concerns

Support Groups for Parents
Currently we have four support groups in the state:
1) Stamford/Greenwich, please call to confirm dates and times;
2) Torrington, CT on the second Tuesday of the month beginning at 6 p.m. Call Kim Wills-Rinaldi for details -- 860-496-7137.
3) Ledyard, CT on the first Tuesday of every month at the Ledyard Congregational Church on Rte. 117. Call SIDS Network at 860-892-7042 ext. 551.
4) Manchester, CT on the third Thursday of every month at the Manchester Hospital from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Call Candy Parker at 860-647-4735 for more information.
Your support at these meetings is needed for them to continue.

Upcoming Events/Fund-Raisers
The Connecticut SIDS Alliance is pleased to offer specialty note cards for sale. For more information and to see designs, please call Genny at 866-574-7437 or visit The Giving Tree in Norwalk. Please check Ebay for the cards as well.
The following fund-raisers are scheduled for 2001:
1) A Wine & Cheese Tasting in Stamford during the month of May.
2) A Walk-A-Thon in Torrington during the month of October.
3) A Dinner/Dance in Trumbull during the month of October.
4) A Golf-A-Thon in New Haven during the month of September.
