THE WHAT, HOW AND FOR WHOM OF THE LACE CAP WIG!
and other Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS A LACE CAP OR LACE FRONT WIG?
Our full lace cap wigs are made using either Swiss of French lace that will blend in with your own natural skin tone, throughout the entire cap. Our lace front wigs are made using Swiss or French lace in the front portion of the wig only, the back portion is constructed using a light weight stretchable lace in a coordinate color to the skin and the lace used in the front portion of the wig.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CONSTRUCT AND SHIP ONE WIG?
Once you book your fitting appointment and a templet mold is made of your exact head size. Our wigs are made by hand with loving care in China. They take thirty-five days to complete. Once the work is done they take three days to ship to the U.S.
FOR WHOM ARE THESE BEAUTIFUL WIGS MADE?
In the past we have seen these wigs being worn by the elite Divas of the Opera, the King of disco music Sylvester, Rue Paul and those that suffered from extreme cases of hair loss due to premature baldness, cancer, or severe scalp burns.
But today these wig have made their way into both the pop culture and main stream populations. Those that can afford and desire to look good every day can now enjoy feeling and looking their very best in the most natural and discrete way available in hair extensions today. The lace is transparent and chosen to match the skin and scalp tones then the hairs are ventilated strand by strand which allow the hair to appear as though it is growing right out of your scalp. If you suffer from a recessed hairline or severe hair loss these wigs will work best on you. If you want to grow out a haircut or enhance your appearance these wig will work for you too.
HOW MANY OUNCES OF HAIR IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A FULL LACE FRONT OR LACE CAP WIG?
On average it takes 6.1 TO 8 ounces of hair to make a full cap wig. This quantity does vary depending on the length of the hair.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU RECOMMEND I USE ON MY WIGS AND WEAVES?
There are numerous products on the market that can be used on hair extensions. Keep in mind that the hair is 100% Remy so using gel, sprays, and leave in conditioning products made with alcohol can dry out the hair. We use, recommend and market Brandywine products.
WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR EXTENSIONS BEING SOLD?
We only have one location in Oakland, CA. But we can e-mail you referrals of stylists in your area that are familiar with our products.
WHAT TEXTURE OF HAIR WILL BE BEST FOR ME?
That is very difficult to determine without consulting with you what, length and color are best suited for you but in most cases we can match your natural texture.

Then scrunch hair gently with mousse to reform curl.

DAILY
• Before going to bed, braid your hair into one loose large braid at the back of the neck.
• After waking up, undo braid.

SPECIFIC PRECAUTIONS
STATIC
• In colder months, you may experience some static. The best way to deal with this is to dampen your hands with water, and rub hands together so they are warm. Run the palms of your hands over your hair, without actually touching your hair. This process should help control the static.

It is not recommended that you swim with extension hair. However if you do the following precautions are recommended.
• Never wear a swimming cap or anything that covers your hair, the friction may cause matting.
• Before swimming comb out tangles.
• Braid hair into one braid at back of neck.
• Try to keep head above water.
• Do not swim under water.
• No diving.
• After swimming keep head out of shower.
• Immediately after showering undo braid, comb hair and let air-dry.
• Follow with appropriate shampooing and conditioning as needed.

MISCELLANEOUS TIPS
• Although the extension hair is real, it is not receiving nutrients from the scalp like your own hair. Heat is your hair extensions biggest enemy. The more you use on it, the shorter the life span of your hair. We cannot guarantee that the hair will remain silky if you use the blow dry, flat iron, or curling iron. We also recommend that for curling the hair, you Consult your stylist.
• When you sleep, we highly recommend that you braid, wrap or ponytail your hair together to prevent tangling. This will save time that would be spent untangling the hair the next morning.
• When shampooing the hair, always soak in sudsy water and squeeze excess water out in a downward motion. Use your fingers in a horizontal motion between wefts to clean your scalp. When rinsing weaves, do the same to be sure that all the shampoo and conditioner residues are rinsed out.
• If you perm, tint, bleach or cellophane the hair, you do it at your own risk. We do not guarantee any hair that has been chemically altered. If you must chemically alter it, then be sure to do a strand test first. This will allow you to test how the hair will hold up under processing.
