DEVIN HELLFIRE - It was 1993 when Devin got his start (Then D'Angelo and also known as Devin Delano) first walked onto a stage in drag. It was in Baltimore City at Club Hippo's Gong Show! From that moment on a king was born. Devin traveled all over the North East performing. Up to New York City, Ohio, Vermont and Connecticut and then to D.C. A solo performer over the years his most memorable performances have been at The Pink Pyramid in New York City, The WOW Theater in New York City, The Vault in New York City, The First International Drag King Show in Ohio and Club Chaos in D.C. Now Devin is back in Baltimore! A seasoned performer wanting to shake things up in Charm City, USA hon'!
Whether strutting his stuff as hyped up rocker and 80's head banger or shaking his groove thang 70's with retro fever on a Saturday night or hustling his muscle Italian gigolo style or radically punking it out rebelliously or crooning the ladies with old standard moonlight sonatas the ladies cannot resist this charismatic king.
Yes, Devin is diverse. You never know what to expect. With tight red leather hot pants, big black boots, leopard print vest and a cowboy hat he's pretty wild! Devin may wear a cowboy hat but this city cowboy would rather be ridden than do the riding. Just climb on board baby!
Devin is also well-known for his infamous Cyber King routine where He dresses up as a drag king cyborg bumping and grinding to Industrial Rock music. His whole body lighting up with cyber circuitry and a joy stick jutting from his crotch. This king is a wild sex machine! After 12 years of performing you think he'd be tired by now, but he's not. The blood running through this king's veins must be made of electricity! He's got more energy than a tornado whipping through the Bible Belt. In his spare time this bohemian leather man and blue-collar intellectual enjoys debating gender theory, reciting poetry, painting nude portraits, playing pool, attending Harley bike shows and meeting hot leather femme chicks.
