The 2004 racing year is upon us. Not much going on in the off season, except a big move from Milledgeville Georgia to Lake City Florida, which means we will be racing in Lake City and Ocala. I really could use some help at the track this year.In the past I had J.D., The Tapley's and JP#9 to help out....
ANYBODY INTERESTED IN ADVERTISING, I SURE COULD USE A SET OF TIRES?????

2004 Results
March 26 - Friday night practice session, car wasn't quite up to speed,fuel pump was leaking a little and it ran hot after 7 or 8 laps, no other major problems.
March 27, 2004 - Raced at Lake City, car still getting hot (230) and loses major Horsepower, ran great for 5 laps before getting HOT,Changing rear end gear and doing some other stuff this week, so hopefully I'll be back racing this weekend.
May 15, 2004 ----Got the car ready for the DIRT track in LAKE CITY FLORIDA...
A few weeks ago some friends said they would help if I would run at thier track, so I took them up on the offer, and went racing this weekend on the DIRT..Thanks to a helpful hand it makes racing fun again......Thanks to Mike, Billy, Buddy, Josh and the rest of gang for pitching in....We have a sponsor for tires,,ABBS Investments, and Mike thinks we might get NAPA to sponsor us as well, and Billy thinks we might be able to get a local Wrecker service to help also, so we are on our way to hopefully a great season..----
May 15, 2004 -- Had a pretty good night, started out by blowing the radiator cap off during practice but didn't hurt anything, so Mike took the cap off his truck so we could run the rest of the night....Started 5th in the heat race and finished 3rd..so we started on the outside of row 3..Was running third late in the race and wearing the front bumper off the car trying to get around THE BLOCKER and tried to make a pass on the high side of the race which shuffled me back to 7th or 8th but managed to work my way back up to fourth 4th, where we finished.....One thing is for Sure RACIN in the dirt, we'll be wearing out a few pieces of sheet metal...This week we gotta beat out the front quarter panels and the rear quarter panels, but other than that, everything else looks good and ready to race (WIN) May 22.
May 22, 2004 - Qualified 3rd in heat, started 5th, After numerous caution laps 25 or so, we finally got to race, Under the last caution my power steering pump broke, well the bolts sheered off in the block, good thing it was under caution, the pit guys/and girl tied the pump off and got back on the track without missing a green flag lap.Good Job..Finished 5th..Not quite as good as the week before but still had a good shot to win...
June 19, 2004 - Qualified 8th, after bouncing off the tractor tires in turn 4..That must have been a warning for worse things coming. Was Running around 5th during the middle off the race when the leader's rim came off and he came to abrubt stop on the back strecth while I was on the outside. Yep BAM destroyed the entire right side of the car, knocked the rear axle into the fuel cell, ruined spring, shock, tire, rim,driveshaft, firewall, severed the roof corner, broke one support bar on the roll cage, Thank the lord its a damn good roll cage. OKAY thats enough, Had to get loaded with the wrecker, OH I finished 13th..Good news is I got it running today 6/21, bad news is there no body on it.
