"Kidnapped"
By Dustin Coats
PART ONE
NOTE: This story takes place in the seventh season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
It was getting late and Buffy was beginning to realize that tonight must be take-out night for the vamps. She hadn't seen one all night and it was already 12:46, according to her watch.
"Man! I've been out here for three and a half hours and nothing. Nothing at all," Buffy said to herself.
"I knew I should have stayed home with Dawn and watch that new movie, I can't remember what the name of it was, but I heard it got two thumbs up," Buffy said jokingly. "This sucks…I'm outta here."
As she was heading out she heard something creeping in the bushes.
"I wonder what kind of nasty you could be," she said not knowing if she was talking to the "nasty" or if she was talking to herself again.
The thing jumped out of the bushes and happened to be...
"Spike?," Buffy said confronting him. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Spike was confused. He's a vampire...vampires walk at night...then why is she asking him why he's here?
"What? Is this not a free country anymore?," Spike struck back.
"Yeah...for the living," Buffy snaped.
Buffy, not wanting to chat with the dead at this time of the night, walked past him.
"Well then, I don't want to see you either!," said Spike, not knowing another good come back.
Buffy walked in the door to find the house torn from the inside...literally. Pictures that were hanging from the wall were laying on the floor with their frames broken. Some of the ceramics were busted. The furniture was tipped over. It was a unnatural disaster. It looked like a demon came through here with a terrible attitude...which was probably the case.
"Dawn?," Buffy said worried. "Dawn, where are you? Are you alright? Say something." Then she heard something. A loud scream came from the kitchen. Buffy ran into the kitchen to find Dawn being carried away by demon. She started to try to fight it but she knew if she tried to fight it she would probably hit her. But if Dawn were to be carried away by this thing, she would probably be killed. Buffy couldn't let that happen. She got from behind it and punched it hard twice and then used all her force and kicked the crap out of it. It didn't fall, instead it swung back at her and knocked her to the other side of the kitchen.
"Buffy!," Dawn screamed.
The demon ran out of the house. Buffy tried to get up but she could'nt because of the fall, she hit her legs on the wall and they were temporarily paralized.
"Dawn! No! Let her go, please!," Buffy screamed at the top of her lungs.
To be continued...
PART TWO
"Dawn! No! Let her go, please!," Buffy screamed at the top of her lungs.
Buffy forced herself to get up, but by the time she did the demon who had taken Dawn was gone.
Buffy knew she needed help, so she went to the phone and called Willow.
"Hello?," answered Willow with her new cell phone.
"Willow, thank god your there! Listen, Dawn was kidnapped by a demon," explained Buffy.
"Oh god, Buffy. Do you need help?," replied Willow.
"Yeah. How fast can you make it over here?," asked Buffy.
"I'm with Xander. He'll drive me there. And Buffy, don't worry. We'll get her back," told Willow.
"Aahh! Let me go, you stinky demon! When my sister finds you, she'll kill you," Dawn screamed.
"You're not going anywhere, little girl," the demon told her.
"This is the perfect plan to kill the Slayer," explained the demon.
"I thought you should know, a vampire already tried this plan and it didn't work," Dawn calmly told the demon.
"Oh, really? Vampires are idiots. They don't know how to make a good plan work. Besides, how did they get you? Vampires can't go into a mortal's home uninvited like us demons can. Did you do the stupid thing and go outside?," said the demon sarcastically.
"Well, as a matter of fact...yes," Dawn said innocently.
Back at Buffy's, Willow and Xander had just pulled up and came inside to find the place a disaster.
"Man! This place is a mess," Xander said.
Buffy came into the living room where Willow and Xander were standing.
"Buffy, I'm going to get things from my bedroom. I'll be right down," said Willow.
"I'm scared, Xander," Buffy told Xander.
"Why, you weren't scared when Harmony snached her," said Xander.
"Thats because Harmony is stupid. And this isn't Harmony. I couldn't fight it. It knocked off my feet so hard, I couldn't get up," told Buffy.
"Well, that's why we're here. To help when there needs...helping," said Xander.
"Ok, I got everything I need," Willow said running down the stairs with a bag full of everything she needs.
"Then lets go," said Buffy.
PART THREE
Back at the demon's lair, Dawn was telling the demon about her new boyfriend hoping that he'll get tired of her and let her go.
"We shared our first kiss together last night. Buffy doesn't know 'cause she would probably do the same thing to him as she'll do to you if you don't let me go," Dawn said.
"Not gonna happen, little girl," told the demon.
"Dawn, you have a boyfriend that I don't don't know about? And Mr. Whatever-You-Are, she's right about one thing, I am gonna kick your butt," Buffy said as she walked in.
"Slayer! You walked right into my trap!," said the demon.
"Oh, really?," Buffy shot back.
Over at the far end of the lair, Willow and Xander were chanting a spell to make Buffy a little more stronger like the time when she faced Adam, the evil part robot, part human, and part demon guy.
"It's not working, Xander. We need another person," said Willow.
"I'll help," said Spike running into the lair.
"I heard Lil' Bit over there screaming and I came to see what was happening," told Spike.
"Whats happening is we need another person to chant with us to make this spell work," said Xander, not really liking the options.
"Spike, take mine and Xander's hand and say these words repeatly," told Willow.
Willow handed him a piece of paper with the words on it.
"Damn your hands are cold, Spike," said Xander.
"Well, duh!," told Spike.
Buffy was still carrying on small talk with the demon so her friends could finish the spell.
The spell began working and Dawn was scared because she'd never seen Buffy like this.
Buffy began smaking the demon around the room.
"What are you?," asked the demon panically.
"I am the Slayer," said Buffy still under the spell.
Buffy kicked the demon to the ground and picked up a large boulder and smashed the demon's head.
Buffy released from the spell and fell to the floor. Xander ran in and help Buffy up.
"You ok?," asked Xander.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Buffy said as she brushed off dirt from the floor off her clothes.
"Dawn, are you ok?," asked Buffy.
"He didn't hurt, but I think my hands' circulation was beginning to be cut off," replied Dawn.
Buffy untied Dawn and looked at her.
"You have a boyfriend you didn't bother to tell me about?," asked Buffy, remembering what Dawn was saying earlier.
"Umm...yeah," Dawn said innocently.
"That's something we're gonna have to talk about at home after we clean up the mess," said Buffy.
"Is everyone alright?," asked Willow, coming into the room.
"We're fine. And you?," Buffy asked Willow.
"Yeah," replied Willow.
"Let's go home," said Buffy.
