Original Airdate: 09/29/98 Buffy, who has fled to L.A. to escape her problems and is working in a diner, finds herself forced to help out an old friend when people start aging unnaturally. "Dead Man's Party" Original Airdate: 10/06/98 Buffy has trouble readjusting to life in Sunnydale - her friends are distant, her mother is on the edge, and Principle Snyder won't let her back into school. A welcome home partybrings everything to a head, but it's not pretty... "Faith, Hope, and Trick" Original Airdate: 10/13/98 A slew of new faces arrive in Sunnydale, including a rather nasty cloven-hooved vampire, Kakistos, and a new Slayer, Faith. Buffy attemps to date and put Angel behind, while Faith becomes a thorn in her side. "Beauty and the Beasts" Original Airdate: 10/20/98 Oz is under suspicion for mauling a student while Angel has returned from the demon dimension, now tortured and feral. Buffy hides Angel's return while the Scoobies try to clear Oz. "Homecoming" Original Airdate: 11/03/98 While Buffy and Cordelia battle it out for the title of Homecoming Queen, Mr. Trick plans SlayerFest '98, in which he hopes to bag Faith and Buffy once and for all. Meanwhile, Willow and Xander get too close for comfort. "Band Candy" Original Airdate: 11/10/98 Giles' old friend and sorcerer, Ethan Rayne, oversees the distribution of magical candy to the adult population of Sunnydale, resulting in some disastrous - not to mention embarrassing - concequences.
