He is the smallest pup of this litter
He is exceptionally small
He has shown no faults or health issues to date
His color is typical red however his mask and topline hairs were distinctively blue grey as a newborn therefore a dilute
Merlot crossed the rainbow bridge on Thursday, February 16th, 2006
Death was from dehydration from vomiting and diarrhea from a rotovirus, all pups had received their parvo/caronavirus shots and were given supportive therapy for the vomiting & diarrhea, his veins were too small for IV fluids
The other pups in the litter all have recovered from the virus, but the duration lasted at least 5 days for each of them
