She is on monthly Ivermectin orally and BioSpot Flea and Tick preventive.
During her 3rd tri-mester she was dewormed with pyrantel pamoate.
She was placed in the whelping house 3 weeks prior to her due date, so she was able to make her whelping nest. She received daily exercise and during the week prior to whelping received daily milk and vitamin supplements.

On the third day after birth the dewclaws were removed from all pups.
During the sixth week the puppies received pipersol & pyrantel pamoate deworming for roundworms and hookworms.

Port came down with an intestinal virus first and suffered for one week prior to the others getting it. It lasted for 7 days with all pups except Merlot who died after the 4th day from dehydration. All were given supportive therapy. This was not Parvovirus.
Pups are fed beginning on milk supplements, then ground kibble when their eyes open and when their teeth come are started on raw beef and kibble up to 4 times daily. This virus was also not a reault of food poisoning.
