The Ten Much Better Commandments
- Thou shalt consider the earth, and every creature in it, as thy neighbor and thy equal kin.
- Thou shalt not seek, nor hold, dominion over thy neighbor, nor over thy neighbor's people.
- Thou shalt call thyself well-made and manifold. Thou shalt not make thyself small for the sake of any other. Thou shalt fear no gods.
- Thou shalt not consider thy neighbor's children as less worthy than thy own.
- Thou shalt not wage war, nor shalt thou command thy sons and daughters to smite the children of others.
- If any shall command thee to do wrong, thou shalt not obey, but shall offer loving refusal.
- In all thy works, thou shalt ever seek after wisdom and justice and mercy.
- Remember the power of the world, and use it with understanding.
- Thou shalt work and thou shalt rest in just measure.
- In all thy thoughts, thou shalt reserve to thee a portion of doubt; remember it and keep it holy.
