Since our organization in May 1918, the St. Paul Downtown Lions have served those in need. Our club has strived to meet the challenge extended by Helen Keller at the Lions International Convention in 1925 to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness."

OUR SCHEDULE
The St. Paul Downtown Lions Club meets at noon on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from September through June.
Our next meeting is Tuesday September 4, 2007 at Joseph's Grill, 140 S. Wabasha, kitty corner from the Health Partners offices. The public is invited to join us. Kindly send us an e-mail advising us of your intention, and let us know if you should need directions.

Lions recycle used eyeglasses and hearing aids. If you are looking for a location to deposit these items, please send us an e-mail and we will secure a contact or location for you.

Peace Poster Contest

Right, the 2007 International winning poster from Min-Ji Yi, age 12, . She was sponsored by the Tarzana, California Lions Club. The theme for 2007 was "CelebratePeace".
The St. Paul Downtown Lions Club participates in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest by sponsoring a contest at Highland Park Junior High School. 2008 will mark the ninth year of sponsorship by our club. The theme for the upcoming Peace Poster contest is "Peace Around the World".
