STORY HOUR
Story Hour starts promptly at 10:15 AM and ends by 11:00 AM.
Please plan to arrive at 10 AM.
Space is limited to 15 children, ages 3 to 5 years old.
Children who attend Kindergarten are not eligible to attend.
There are four sessions for Story Hour, staring in October
and ending the first week of May. A one week "break" is
scheduled between each session.
Story Hour will be canceled whenever school is canceled
due to bad weather. In addition, Story Hour is not scheduled
during school vacations, such as Winter and Spring breaks.
Stories and activities may include various holidays as they
occur during the year, such as Halloween, Christmas and
Easter.
If your child has any food or pet allergies, please let us know.
If, for example, we were planning to bring in a cat on "Cat day",
and your child is allergic to cats, we would read stories about
cats but eliminate the real cat.
Snacks are provided by the parents. A sign-up sheet is available
at the circulation desk. If you sign up to bring snacks, but are unable
to attend, please give us a call so the Library can provide the snacks
that week. Snacks are usually something like a cookie, crackers,
snack cake or similar item and a drink.
