PVT EARL C  NAZELROD- POW/MIA-1931--1951
TIGER GROUP
My brother PVT Earl C Nazelrod was captured on July 29, 1950 near Taejon South Korea. He was only 19 when he gave his life for his Country. According to sources he died on April 14,1951 at the Tiger POW Camp at Andong North Korea. Which was an old Japanese Army base. My brother is still over there somwhere. It was a terrible winter and they had no food or warm cloths. They were on a death march from Nov 1, 1950 to Nov 9, 1950 and then ended up at Hanjang-ni north Korea where they spent the winter. 222 men and some civilians who were with them died in that horrible place. They wound up at Andong with The Tiger, a commander who WAS A MURDERING PERSON who liked to do most of the killing himself hince his name the guys gave him. THE TIGER.!!
