SALMON STEAKS 'N' CUCUMBER SAUCE

1 cup of dairy sour cream
1 cup of chopped pared cucumber
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
salt to taste
dash of ground red pepper
4 salmon steaks (about 2 pounds)
For a sauce ,combine all ingredients except salmon in a bowl; cover and chill.
Arrange salmon steaks, alternating thick and thin ends, in an 8-inch square glass baking dish. Cover with waxed paper.
Cook in microwave oven 4 minutes at high. Turn salmon steaks over and rearrange. Continue cooking covered 3 to 4 minutes on high, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Remove from oven;let stand covered 2 minutes. Serve with cucumber sauce.
4 to 6 servings
