Ms. Gibbs, co-founder and executive producer of Global Focus Films, is a professional journalist, photographer, AIDS activist/organizer, and author. She has published over 400 articles on issues including: HIV/AIDS from global, national, and local perspectives; women's health; political and celebrity interviews/analysis; racism, and profiles of a variety of community-based organizations. She earned her BA from the University of Colorado in Latin American Studies and has conducted post-graduate studies in Social Science and Community Organizing at the same university.

Mr. Bahde is the owner of Fair Winds Productions, a professional digital video and film company in Denver, Colorado. He currently produces high-end corporate streaming video projects for major corporations for Internet broadcast. He is a former broadcast supervisor for Vyvx, an international video transmission company. He is a fifteen-year veteran of film and video with extensive broadcast experience on network transmissions, satellite, fiber optics, and microwave feeds and is responsible for on-air quality control, editing, and scheduling of national and international programs. He has worked as a freelance cameraman and voice-over talent to National Geographic, ESPN, TNN, Pepsi, Budweiser, ABC Denver, NBC Today Show, Fox Network, DIA, and Summit Ski Resorts.

Grace Mnguni

Grace Mnguni has long been an advocate of people living with HIV/AIDS in her homeland of South Africa. In Johannesburg, Ms. Mnguni is the program director for the Association Francois Xavier-Bagnoud which serves destitute families affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty. She was selected 1999 South African Woman of the Year for her work and dedication to those less fortunate. Ms. Mnguni has given presentations on AIDS orphans and issues related to people living with AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa at the 1999 U.S. Conference on AIDS in Denver, Colorado, USA; the 13th International Conference on AIDS in Durban, South Africa in July 2000; the United States Congress in 2000 and at numerous conferences throughout Africa.

Phillip Gibbs

Phillip is a founding member of the OSHANA Int'l Development Network and has worked in international development for over 20 years. His expertise is in the areas of program design and evaluation, management consulting, and training. He has worked for CIET Int'l on community assessment projects in Croatia, Nepal, Uganda and Canada (1995-96). He coordinated development of a "National Plan of Action for Women and Children" for the National Planning Commission of Namibia (1993-94) as a consultant to UNICEF. He has also worked with UNICEF on assessments of health programs in Somalia and Mozambique (1993), and was director of the U.S. Committee for Unicef's Campaign for Child Survival (1985-86). Mr. Gibbs has a BA in Political Science/International Affairs at the University of Missouri and attended the Graduate Program in International Journalism at the same university.

Debra Denker, journalist, photographer and documentary filmmaker has lived and traveled extenstively throughout central Asia since the 1970's. During the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, she travelled with the Mujahedeen into Soviet-occupied territory disguised as an Afghani woman, documenting what she witnessed through film and print media. Ms. Denker published a number of articles about these experiences in National Geographic, the Los Angeles Times, The Christian Science Monitor and others. Her book, "Sisters on the Bridge of Fire," tracing her journey through central Asia, was re-released in April, 2002. Denker co-produced the documentary, "A Nation Uprooted: Afghan Refugees in Pakistan" and has actively supported refugee camps in Pakistan since the early 1980's. She also practices several healing arts and has studied traditional healing in a number of nations, including Tibet, and with the well-known African healer, Credo Mutwa.
