The Atlantis Anglers Association
We are a Long Island N.Y. based fishing club that has been in existence over 30 years. We have something to offer everyone! Wether you own a boat or fish from the surf, pier, or party boats, this is the fishing club for you! We offer many competitions, and other events that promote a comaraderie and friendships amongst our members. We strive to have safe fun, and for the continuous conservation of our marine resources. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except in Dec. , at the Baldwin Park community room at the southern end of Grand Avenue in Baldwin. These meetings often feature guest speakers, and have refreshments and raffles for our members. Discussions about fishing related issues, and reports from our members are also had. If you love to fish , then you will love being an Atlantis Angler. Other special priviledges include club subsidized charters, rig tying workshops, a tackle auction and yearly awards for many species, as well as awards for angler of the year, and captain of the year. Members can add their spouses and children to the club as associate members , and they qualify for seperate awards. LAST MEETING:
Tuesday April 22nd. 2008,
Our annual awards meeting was a good one again. Members ate, had some laughs, went over the latest fishing reports. Of course all awards were presented for the 2007 fishing season. Congratulations to all the winners! The plaques were beautiful and well deserved! Good luck to all our members in the season ahead. The club sweatshirts were handed out, and they came out real nice. You can still get one, or buy additional ones . See a board member at the next meeting.

Next Meeting: May 27th. 2008,
The new rosters should be ready, we have updated the information, and there are some new members as well. Flounder derby will be concluded and the Seabass and the first Fluke derby started . They will run concurrently this year. All meetings start promptly at 810 pm.
