Size E crochet hook
1 roll of regular size toilet paper
Fibre Craft 6 in (half doll) Poupee (I cracked up laughing when I seen the name of the dolls)
Beg. Cross Stitch: Ch 3, dc to right of beg ch 3.
Cross Stitch: Skip next dc, dc in next dc, dc in dc just skipped.
Dress
Row 1: Ch 11, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn (10 sc).
Row 2: Working in Front Loops only, sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Working in Back Loops only, 2 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc in next 3 sc, ch 4, skip next 4 sc, sc in next 6 sc, ch 4, skip next 4 sc, sc in last 3 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 5: Sc in next 3 sc, sc in each of next 4 chs, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc, sc in each of last 3 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Sc in next 8 sc, sc next 2 sc together, sc in next 2 sc, sc nxt 2 tog, sc in next 8 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 7: Sc in next 6 sc, sc next 2 tog, 4 times, sc in last 6 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 8: In Back Loops only, 2 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 9: *Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * across, join with sl st to 1st sc. Do not turn, Place Marker.
Rounds begin
Rnd 10: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 11: Reposition Marker (each round to keep count of rounds), sc in each sc around.
Rnd 12: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, rep * around.
Rnd 13-15: Sc in each sc, on rnd 15 join with sl st in next sc, ch 1, do not turn.
Continuous rounds end
Rnd 16: Sc in BL only of each sc, join with sl st in 1st sc made, Ch 3, do not turn.
Rnd 17: Dc in sc to right of beg ch 3, (beg Cross Stitch) Sk next unworked sc to left of beg ch 3, dc in next sc, dc in sc just skipped. *Sk next sc, dc in next sc, dc in sc just skipped. (cross stitch), Rep * around. Join with sl st, ch 1, do not turn.
Rnd 18: Sc in each st, join with sl st, sl st in next 2 sts, ch 3, do not turn.
Rnd 19-27: Alternate rnds 17 and 18, ending in row 17 (ch 4 at end).
Rnd 28: (Tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in BL only of the same sp as beg ch 4, (2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr)in BL only of each rem st. Join with sl st in top of beg ch 4. Fasten off.
Dress Trim
Rnd 1: With contrasting color, sl st in the unworked loop closest to the center back of Rnd 16. Sc in same st, *Ch 10, sk next 5 sts, sc in next st. Rep * around. Sl st in 1st sc, Ch 1, Do not turn.
Rnd 2: (sc, hdc, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, tr, ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc, hdc, sc) in each ch 10 space around, join with sl st to 1st sc made. Fasten off.
Hat
Row 1: With main color, ch 4, 6 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, turn.
Row 2: 2 dc in each dc, ch 3, turn.
Row 3: 2 dc in each dc, Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc in each of 1st 5 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, dc in next 3 sts, tr in next 4 sts, dc in next 3 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, sc in last 5 sts, ch 1, turn.
Row 5: Sc in next 6 sts, (ch 3, sc in next st) across to last 6 sc, sc in last 6 sc. Fasten off.
With contrasting color Ch 75, fasten off (this is the ties, make two, one for hat and one to tie around waist).
Weave chained strand of contrasting color in and out of the stitches between rows 4 and 5, draw the hat up and tie under dolls chin.
Finishing
Add a tie of string to the back of the bodice. Put dress on doll and tie the bodice string in a bow so the dress can be easily removed for washing. Stand the doll in the tube of toilet paper roll.
