I then wrapped leaf cane with white clay, thickest setting of pasta machine. I left pinched point exposed, this will be joining the other three leaves in the middle.

I reduced the leaf cane to 4 inches long and cut into four one inch pieces. I pressed slightly together to form four leaf clover. Now it is time to pack in some white. I used two different sized cookie cutters to a sheet of white to keep logs consistant in size in the four corners.

I used smaller cutter for the eight corners. Then cover with white sheet of clay around cane.
