After pressing as much you like, you slice flush with stencil. This is half of bead.

Your slices should have a "bowl" shape. Flip over your slices, use your needle to pick up and turn over to place on top of bottom slice, the clay sticks to my needle nicely for maneuvering.

Slightly press your slices together using fingers. Use your needle tool to roll up and down bead to smooth edges.

|
Your reject cane slices is perfect for beads. I use scrap clay for the backs. I used figure 8 bent wire and liquid clay for loops.
