Combining seed beads with clay
These were inspired by Huichol Indians of Mexico. Seed bead inlays onto carved, waxed pieces. A technique older than time.

My first attempt, I simply placed seed beads into clay, pressed down slightly. But one drop on floor from fridge proved something was needed to hold them in better.

This time, I buttered surface first with transluscent liquid sculpey. It reminds me of mosaics in a way.
