1.Biography of Junius Marshall - Son of Alexander Marshall & Elizabeth Hicks (Info on Elizabeth from her son's Biography) - Born in Virginia May 5, 1793 - Died in Breckinridge County Ky June 30, 1864. daughter of Jesse Hicks, Her father Jesse having came to Breckinridge as early as 1810 making a settlement near Clifton Mills on Sinking Creek. Jesse was a Blacksmith and died around 1836. (Note By Mary Hicks Driggers - Jesse Hicks death is 1829 from dates on his will.) - Elizabeth was the mother of 12 children. At the time of this article 4 of the children were living namly Edwin - Jane -Emily - Junius S. The last Junius was born in Breckinridge County April 18, 1834.
(Note this Biography is lengthy and gives a good accounting of Junius Marshall his life and his wife and children. I have just gone over the Hicks part of it.)

He married Miss Mollie Hicks daughter of Daniel Hicks & Kate Coke. - Children of John Hart & Mollie Hicks - Lota T. - Ula M. - Guy O. - Minnie L..- John Hart moved with his parents to Hardin Co. 3.Biography of John W. Jarrett - Born Oct. 28, 1844, in Breckinridge Co. KY. Son of Wilson Jarrett who was born Aug. 20, 1810 in Breckinridge Co. Wilson Jarrett was the 5th child of Joel Jarrett & Mary Dowell. Joel Jarrett was born in Bedford Co. Va. July 12, 1785. He was a farmer and son of John Jarrett who was born June 25, 1737 a wagon maker and son of Thomas & Martha Jarrett. Wilson Jarrett was twice married 1st wife Catherine Dowell daughter of Nehemiah Dowell & Mary Board. 2nd wife Catherine Moredock daughter of Steven R. Moredock & Matilda Pemberton. John W. Jarrett married Jennie Perrigo March 5, 1882 daughter of Samuel Perrigo & Catherine Ackerman. ( Note this article also has more info on John W. Hart and his family.)
