California- Rosamond
A large hovering UFO,octagonal in shape , was spotted hovering over Albertson's Supermarket and Taco Bell in Rosamond, Ca. between 9;19 and 11;00 P.M. on April 22 1998.The object had yellow and orange lights around it's edge and witnesses in this 7,500-population back then called authorities and newspapers, and the object caused traffic jams as motorists parked and rubber-necked at the sky show. Both Air Force and Sheriff denied knowing of anything in the skies that night that could of have explained the sightings. Most of the reports were received by copy chief Jane Treece of the Antelope Valley Press newspaper. The incident was reported by Skywatch member Bill Hamilton

I moved to the Antelope Valley .I have always had a facination for the unexplained and I love lost treasures. The idea of someone's lost could be my gain.I have found many weird items while metal detecting.and have recorded some weird stuff out in the desert. I have read many stories of the desert. Some of my favorite are; a lost ship full of pearls and gold !How about the legend of the desert sasquash.Did you also know that there has been ufo's sightings. We also had our share of bandits in the area, like Tivurcio Vasques or Joaquin Murrieta. There were many miners who found gold and died with out their staches .
Did you know that back in the early day people did not have banks and used to stash their money in their homes and many forgot where or left it behind? Its stories like these. That makes me love the desert.
No matter how much research you do you will find great mysteries in the Los Angeles desert
