Thomas R. Greenwood was born in England in 1820 or 1821*. He married Anna C. ? who was born in Madison County, New York in 1822 or 1823*. Thomas R. Greenwood and Anna C. ? had the following family: James was born 1845 or 1844* in Madison County, New York. Francis (Female) was born 1849 or 1848* in Madison County, New York. Alice was born 1852 or 1851* in Madison County, New York. Magdaline was born 1854 or 1853* in Madison County, New York.. George E. GREENWOOD and Ida May HAYDEN
George E. GREENWOOD was born in Chittenango, New York on Dec.22, 1857. Ida May HAYDEN was born in Hampden County, Mass. on Feb. 16, 1859. Ida was the daughter of Daniel F. HAYDEN and Lucy A. HULL. George married Ida in Westfield, Hampden County, Mass. Dec. 14, 1880 by Rev. Henry SHERIDAN. George's occupation: Whip maker in Westfield, Mass., 1880. Taxidermist in Battle Creek, Michigan, 1908, Cabinet Maker in Battle Creek, Mich., 1909 and Woodworker in Battle Creek, Michigan, 1911. George and Ida resided at one time on Jefferson St. in Hastings, Mich. in 1894 and at 48 Water St., Battle Creek, Michigan, 1909 to at least 1912.. Also in Verona, Mich. George died Jan. 31, 1947 in Battle Creek, Mich. Ida died June 9, 1925 in Battle Creek, Mich.
George and Ida had the following family: GRACE M. GREENWOOD born in Westfield, Mass. Aug. 31, 1881. She resided at one time on Jefferson St. in Hastings, Mich. 1894. She also resided at 48 Water St., Battle Creek, Michigan in 1908. Grace's occupation in Battle Creek: milliner. THOMAS GREENWOOD born in Westfield, Mass. Jan. 15, 1884. Thomas died Jan 30, 1884 of convulsions in Westfield, Mass. W. H. WHITNEY was the undertaker. + HAROLD G. GREENWOOD was born Dec. 7, 1885 in Westfield, Mass. Harold resided at one time on Jefferson St., Hastings, Mich. 1894 JAMES RAYMOND GREENWOOD was born in Hastings, Michigan, July 20, 1896. He married twice. He married Genevieve L. Welch in Battle Creek, Mich. on April 28, 1917. Genevieve is the daughter of Emma A. Langdon and William M. Welch. . He then married ELENOR ??. James had an upholstery business in his home in Battle Creek, Mich. James died in Battle Creek, Mich. in 19??.
