2007 Endowment Fund Supporters

. In early 2006 the Greater Milwaukee Foundation informed the G/L Trust Fund that they were closing our account that we had with them for two years. The foundation was reluctant to discuss the matter with our attorneys, only to state that they felt we were in competition with a fund they have jointly with the Cream City Foundation. What was coincidental is that just days before the cancellation Maria Cadenas, who was just hired as Executive Director, from the Cream City Foundation, had expressed their concerns about our organization. From their communication it is apparent that both organizations have collaborated to have the cancellation happen. We feel that it is unfortunate that CCF and the GMF feels that there is no other room for fundraising organization in the GLBT community.

We have continued forward with our mission and have found another fiscal agent to assist our organization.

The G/L Community Trust Fund has for over 13 years assisted small independent (non 501-C-3) organizations and programs. We appeal to a totally different segment of the community with different fundraising methods.
