My Profile
This is me with my long suffering wife Sharon. Smart couple eh!!! We have two daughters Joanne and Catherine, a right pair of bright sparks. Joanne has a degree in Law gained at Nottingham University and Catherine has a degree in Geography which she gained at Loughborough Uni. She also gained the title of "Piss Head of the Year", but we won't go into that. Joanne is now a Solicitor and Catherine is a Police Officer. Ugg !!!
I retired from work in June 2001 thanks to restructuring and Team Based Working. I used to work at Rolls Royce in Derby as a Test Engineer working on the latest development test beds. I was involved in testing all of the TRENT, RB211 and V2500 range of aeroplane engines THE MOST RELIABLE AND POWERFUL ENGINES in the whole world. NO KIDDING !!! My hobby as you might have guessed is "compuuuting". I like to work with sound and graphics and creating games is the ideal way of doing this. I use The Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion to produce my games as I find these programs very easy to use and quit flexible considering they are very high level languages. I am not a games player and although I can complete individual levels of my games (which I have to do in my testing) I find it difficult to complete any full game.
