Suspension Retro Fit -a little help?
This weekend we traveled to Newberry Michigan.
Before we left my good ole buddy Angus told me he needed a little help getting his sled ready for the trip. Mind you, he told me this THURSDAY NIGHT.
The little bit of help ended up being a total suspension retro-fit. Putting a 1999 Polaris suspension into a 1995 Yamaha V-max. Surprise!
Well I took the challenge like a champ and with the help of my buddy Brad we managed to get most of the work done Friday, but this pushed back our departure time to nearly 8:30 p.m.
With a few more hours of wrenching on Saturday, Thanks to our new pal E.J. (who rented us a house in Newberry and offered us full use of his Pole Barn and tools) we were finally off and running.
The Yamaris rode nicely and handled all the rutts the Paradise trails had as we made our way to the Brew Pub!

2 new SNO*DAWGZ?
I was very impressed with the riding of potential SNO*DAWGGER Archie McIntyre! He was on me like glue as we rode our sleds moto-cross style on the whoops and stutter bumps for about 5 miles of hell as we got near the Tahquamenon Brewery. Way to go Arch!! Brad ran hard like a true champ too!
